Please, whatever you do, dont take this class. He is very hard to get along with, and makes you feel really dumb. Everything is powerpoint based and all out of order. Also one of the hardest graders and will mark the slightest mistake. Lectures are very boring and seems like he does not want you to succeed. Take the class if you want to fail.

Visick gives quizzes every single day and is very strict about electronic use, participation, and attendance. He is an incredibly tough grader and his lessons were heavily based on the powerpoint. He would make it known that he was very aware of how many students questioned his teaching ability, and was not the easiest to get along with.

Please don't, for the sake of your sanity, please take with different Professor. Mitra is an awesome choice. Prepare yourself for late nights and exams that don't make sense. Class average for final was 60%, I received 65% with endless hours of study groups and self-study sessions. I know that sometimes these rates are ridiculous,but please listen.

I wish I would've known that taking his class was about to be the worst decision of my life. He's sometimes nice, but sucks at teaching. I'm not stupid, nor are most students in my class, yet majority of the class would fail his tests. If you get him as your professor, I 100% recommend switching before you end up in the worst situation of your life

Dr. Visick provided me the opportunity to earn the hardest A- in my life. He expects a lot of work, and the exams require you to know the subject very well. He is an exceptional lecturer and I found that he was always willing to help. You can tell both: that this is his favorite subject, and he knows this material very well.

Horrible! Horrible! Worst teacher I have ever had. I have never had a teacher who belittles his student. He wants you to ask him for help, but is not helpful in answering your questions. He doesn't teach well and he blames the students when the test scores are low. Maybe if he teaches better, then we wouldn't have such a high failure rate.

Don't know why you are reading this, not like you have a choice in which professor you take the class w/ anyway. But here's what you need to know. Class exam average won't exceed 50%, and the lab will be the most time consuming thing you have ever experienced. In addition to lab days you must come in mornings/afternoons/evenings.

Dr. Visick has high expectations for anyone taking his classes, but I've seen even the weakest students succeed if they put in the effort. He always has time to answer questions, and seems to really care about his students. He certainly changed the course of my life, and is one of the more exceptional instructors that I've worked with.
