He is very confusing and I never understood what he wanted. He even gave me an F on a paper for not writing his ideas, instead I wrote my own ideas and feelings on a thought. I have always made A's in english in the past, but in his class I made a C.I would not recommend anyone taking his class.

Great English professor. He makes the class more fun than a regular english class would be with any other professor. He does grade hard but as long as you listen and go by every requirement he gives you, then you will be alright. He's hilarious and has a dry humor and loves to pick on people, but thats what makes the class fun.

This is not an easy class! He grades papers really hard and he tells you the first day of class that you will not understand what you read, but he still expects you to write a paper about it. He is not very clear with instructions for papers. I have gotten an A in all my English classes before this one, and I had a C at midterms.

I don't know how in the world he received such high ratings. Overall, I would never take him. His grading is ridiculously hard and he says he want to know how things make you feel or how you thought about the piece. In actuality it sounds as if he wanted you to write what he was thinking. He says to explain things more even with length restrictions

Great Teacher for an English or Writing major but I am a M.E. who hates writing so this class sucked. He's a good teacher but he is extremely picky my paper was 2 lines short and I got 30 points taken off.

He is one of those guys that you either love or you hate. He's funny, intelligent, and nice. However, he is very confusing! You have a great time in class and learn, but I'm not sure if the information will really stick with you. He's more of the kind of person that you'd want as a friend, not a teacher.

My favorite teacher so far at tech! Hes hilarious. He will pick on you but that just means he likes you. He has an awesome way of helping you develop your thoughts. At first he comes off smug but stick with it class is so fun!

AWESOME TEACHER! he is really funny and keeps class pretty interesting. Dont sit in the middle because youll probably get picked on! Go to class or you will miss materials, and make sure you follow everything expected for a paper, especially length! TAKE HIM.

Hite was an amazing writing professor with a sense of humor. He usually is unclear about what exactly it is he wants you to write about, but that's the point he is trying to make. He wants you to think about what you are writing. Just be sure to go to class. Even if you are a little late, he would rather you at least show up.

Mr. Hite was a cynical, entertaining teacher. Be prepared to be made fun of, but this is his way of showing that he likes you. Show up for a class and give it some effort and he will give you an A. Make sure you know what a thesis is and how to write one!!!

He is a pretty good teacher. Just make sure you do the papers how he wants them and make sure to read any material he gives you. On the 1st paper he will hold your hand, but from there out if you don't ask questions you will do badly.
