Best teacher IF you actually want to learn! I had him for both DSPM 800 and 850. I would have taken him for MATH 1130 if he had been an option. His goal is to help you learn the WHY of math-not just memorize formulas. He allows you to do the online assignments until you get a 100, offers tutoring options, and study sessions. A+ Educator!

Mr. Coble is a wonderful and caring teacher who dedicates his time and effort into seeing his students succeed. If there are any reasons students do not like him it would be because of how he may look down own bad attendance. He does more than any teacher I know to give chances on making up tests and extra help by giving re-tests. He is awesome!

First of all he does not teach that well. He will give you the homework online before he even goes over the lesson. He also will start on another chapter even though you have not taken the test for the previous chapter.The only good thing is he will give you a retest if you do bad on a test, but you have to do all kinds of things to earn the retest

Mr.C is the best teacher I've ever had.Thanks to his gift and efforts, math is now my favorite subject.He's crystal clear with his teachings and expectations, and truly cares about all his students.I've had him two semesters now and am sad to leave him.He has made me a better person,not only for myself, but my children as well.Truly an inspiration.

Mr. Coble is the best teacher I have ever had. He goes out of his way to explain the work. There were a few students who got on my nerves because they did not show up for class and did not do their work. If you are lazy you won't finish college. I would take Mr. Coble for all my Math classes if he taught them.

Awful class. He doesn't explain things well and his tests count for alot so if you fail you have to do a test analysis. He rambles on and doesnt work out the problem different ways.

one of the worst math teachers I've ever had. He didn't help you at all and didn't make sense when explaining the problems. he never went into detail on how to work out a problem and if you asked for help he would do the problem the same way. i would not recommend him as a teacher.

Coble is awesome as long as you are willing to come to class and do your homework. If you don't come to class or do homework he will make it very hard on you. He gives re-tests if you earn them.

I didn't love this teacher, but I didn't hate him either. If your trying and showing it he's willing to help. He's letting me take an Incomplete. However I find it unfair and cruel that he counts off so many points just because your not showing every step. He kinda reminds me of Mr.Garrison from South Park, and he loves interacting with students.

Mr. Coble is excellent if you have a desire to learn and advance in Math. He goes out of his way to assist in your learning. Just do what he ask and expects. If you want to skate, then don't take him, it only waste his time and yours. Not easy but extremely fair. Contrary to other comments he is not arrogant. Text book is used and encouraged.

honestly, one of the worst teachers i have had. he doesn't help you with anything, and even if you get the right answer, he counts off points for not writing it the way he says. your own way to work a problem(which is also another right way) is wrong because it isn't his. i did nothing but struggle in his class and ended up retaking it with another

This is man is WONDERFUL! Math is my worst subject, but with his help I pulled through with an A. These other comments are NOT true! If you half way cared about your grade he would ALWAYS meet you the other half of the way. Prof Coble ROCKS!!!!

Coble is arrogant and cares nothing about his students. All you hear about is his life. He enjoys making rude comments toward his students , and putting them down. He doesn't even explain what lesson he is teaching, and gives the homework on course compass before he teaches the lesson, the lesson is taught the day the homework is due.

He is a good professor. He is not rude unless you are in fact STUPID! To pass the class with a good grade just do what he tells you and GO TO CLASS and you will pass. He is very nice to help you, he takes tons of time every day to help those that want it. Homework online is different but easy once you catch on.

I can not stand him. if you take the two teachers from southpark, and mix them together...ad a little bit of the rudest person you know and then BAM there is mr. coble. he is sooooo rude. and he is a horrible teacher. get out while you can. he makes you feel so stupid, i think he enjoys it.

I have no idea why these comments are on here like this. Prof. Coble has been the BEST professor I have EVER had. He is understanding, helpful, kind and REALLY wants to help you make an "A". He does everything he can to help you - from always offering help sessions to letting you retake a test. He is a GRADE A teacher!
