I took 201 in 2010/2011 and I absolutely loved her! I was very nervous since I was a first year in a second year class at the time, and she reassured me that I would do well. She was ALWAYS available for help! You definitely need to be prepared for class, as she wanted everyone to do very well. I definitely recommend taking a class with her!

I had Judit for 101 and 201 at Queen's. She is literally deserving of teaching awards. She puts so much effort and time into her students and she really cares. Show up to class prepared because she makes everyone participate! But that's her way of helping you learn. If you don't want to speak - Don't take a language class! Mistakes = learning.

I liked Judit, but I found her hard to follow in class. I think she is fairly welcome to questions, but she can be a bit intimidating. Must must MUST keep up with textbook, or classes with just be embarrassing.

I don't who wrote the past few comments but I just loved her and so did my entire class! She is so helpful, funny, intelligent. She makes classes at 8:30 in the morning such a blast! She goes out of her way to help her students. Her tests are very fair. The class average was very very high. She really loves what she does and it shows!

She started off teaching us in a mixture of english and spanish and slowly made lessons more and more in just spanish. She always stops to make sure everyone understands before she continues. Lots of class participation in her class however it really helped increase my speaking, thinking and comprehension of Spanish in a short period of time.

I have had MUCH better Spanish professors. Her teaching style is not very pedagogically sound, she has a lot to learn about language teaching. I would not reccommend her.

Perhaps I'm biased b/c I had Sra. Chamberlain beforehand, but I didn't like her at all. I found her teaching unclear, and her teaching style was intimidating: She'd teach a concept, and about a second later she'd be picking kids in the class to answer, not giving much time to absorb the idea. She turned me off Spanish, no doubt.

I found her intimidating at the beginning, but gradually found her to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely not an easy class, and make sure you show up prepared to answer questions about grammar and vocab. She makes the success of her students a number one priority.
