She's nice outside of class and really wants to help, but just talks in circles and is very unclear. Tests are ridiculously hard. One of the worst professors I've ever had.

Hands down the worst professor I have had in my 5 years of college! I'm sure at some point many years ago she had a good grasp on HR in the workplace but she has no clue anymore. She will also argue incorrect facts with students, making her seem more ignorent. I dropped a major 1 class short so not to take her again. HR majors BEWARE!

she comes off as unclear, but the work is really easy. she is very sweet and wants to help. she is not a hard grader and wants everyone to do well. she looks at her all her students as bright and successful. she will make you smile, though can be a little boring at times. she is like a sweet aunt who just wants to throw daisy flowers at you!!

She really isn't as bad as everyone makes her out to be. There's a lot of homework, but it brings up your grade if you keep up with it. Tests are pretty tough, but she gives a review sheet.

I loved her!! she is willing to help...just ask! tests are hard but she gives a review. the more detail you give the better. assignments can be time consuming and sometimes confusing but they help boost your grade! had her for both bmgt 434 and 434. learned a lot about HR.

this is the worst professor on earth. she changes assignments at the last minute and she does not explain assignments completely. if i would have known better i would have dropped this professor. i dont know if i want to be a human resource major if i have to take her again. she is horrible!!!!!!!!!

Nixon is by fare the worst teacher I EVER taken. I am a very dedicated and consider myself very bright, and am shocked that this women has a Dr. degree. I have NEVER delt with such an individual who is affraid of change Dr. Nixon is still stuck in the year 1960! At what ever cost avoid this women.

This class is easy from any other professor,but she made it impossible. she is closed-minded, awful to listen to, and probably the least helpful teacher on campus. I may not attend graduate school at utc if it means that I have to look at this woman again

Comment:

One of the most unfair and biased teachers and UTC. Avoid her at all costs. If you can wear kneepads and don't mind having a permanent brown nose in her class, you will do well. However, if you do anything she doesnt like, your grade will suffer.
