I took this class online. It was my first online class ever. I was not thrilled with the class. I did not feel there was clear communication between the professor and myself. It very well could be that I do not do as well with online classes.

I took the hybrid course and WORST MISTAKE EVER! She doesn't allow anybody to ask questions other than exactly what is coming out of her mouth at the moment. She's rude and doesn't want anybody having any kind of interaction in the chat box. Takes her 10-20 minutes to set up when the class is only 50 minutes! Don't rely on her lectures to pass test

This was my most favorite class I've ever taken! I enjoyed every minute of it and find myself actually missing psychology. Too bad their are no jobs with a degree in psychology. I miss this class!

Comment:

Professor Piercy is a fantastic professor. I took her for a summer intensive for transfer credit to JMU and loved it. Her class expectations are very clear and the class never felt rushed. She is very interested in each student and encourages everyone to show up to class, stay awake, and participate. She puts a lot of work into her course.

Professor Piercy is an amazing teacher. She has made psychology so interesting to me, and the keeps her students engaged in er lectures. Just be sure to complete all the assignments and take notes!

Comment:

Piercy is a pretty fun teacher. I took a summer class with her. She's very clear with what she expects of you and sticks to the syllabus. She's very helpful and her lectures are just fine, especially if you print out the provided outlines and take your own notes. I don't know why everyone is bashing her so hard. She's a great professor!

Don't buy a textbook for her class! Everything on tests is in her notes. I took her online course, it was easy and she gave plenty of info on the topic. I would definitely recommend taking her class.

I had her for psychology this semester and at first I thought she was going to be a horrible teacher. but after the first couple classes, i really started to like her. Sweet woman. Notes are spelled out for you. Tests arent horrible. interesting class. Id take her class again.

I took her for a couple PSY classes online only. This class is very easy you. Didn't really need my book as long as you can print out her notes. She's really good at getting back in touch with you if you have any problems. I would highly recommend her online course!

Dr. Piercy is a great professor. I took her class online and it was extremely easy. You don't need a book for this class just print out the notes she has online. Dr. Piercy is also easy to communicate with if you have any problems. Highly recommend taking her for psy.
