Pretty hard professor. Probably wouldn't take her again. She is kind and motivational though. Assigns a lot of essays, but she loves reading them. I'd recommend taking her if you love reading and writing.

She is terrible. She is moody, and I swear she is going through menopause. She has her days where she is relaxed but they are rare. Alot of personalities do not get along with her. She ****es about your "informal" writing if it is not what she wants. She cuts you off when you speak,and your opinion is not taken into consideration. Dont take her.

She has a bad reputation as being a bit crazy but I have to say she is one of the best teachers at Adelphi. She loves her subject and is hard on her students but that's only because she really does care. She wants YOU to WANT to do well and it shows. I wish I could take another class with her. I'm a better writer because of her.

She is a very unique woman, to say the least. There seems to be somewhat of a love/hate relationship that she shares with her classes. One week you love her, the next week she hates you. Tough grader but will MAKE you learn. I would not choose this professor again.

I lost count of how many times she mentioned she went to Columbia each class. Unfair grader, easily has favorites, very pompous. Has high regard for herself and very little for her students. Avoid her class if possible.

She def makes you a better reader and observer to detail however...she is a bit crazy(admitted to having a effed up childhood), doesn't explain essays and assignments,grades are based on whether or not she likes you. There is A LOT of work like 2 page journal writing per literature read which amounts to 10 pages a week while having to write essays

She Is A complete Nut case...I hated her class and hated and dreaded going there.I think she needs a hug or something she forces u to read these boring stories that she thinks are like the greatest things ever. Journals stay on top of them cuz you don't want to fall behind only 3 papers 1 was cool the last 2 are pointlsess.Overall she was UGH!!!

This class started off really dredful but i soon learned to appreciate this wonderful, insightful, helpful professor who really wants to see us do well and will go the extra length that FORCES you to grow as a writer. this was the first english class in my life that i actually put effort into. she's a tough grader but in the end u gain so much more

ok all I have to say about this professor is she has to be the worst iv ever taken in my first two years of college so far. She spits out nasty, crude comments and goes out of her way to make you feel like ****. her grading policy is unfair. if she likes you, you might get a C, but if she doesnt, then your really in for it. Stay away from her
