It will be easy to get through if you watch his weekly videos. He is very nice and knows a lot about tax! I really wish I would've taken time and read through each chapter and watched his weekly lectures that he would post! I did it the last week and did so well in that chapter on the test and homework.

Halperns class itself wasnt the most informative ever, however, going to the classes did help. Yeah, maybe we only did a few examples and went through powerpoints, but, they did help me out. He was always there for answers.

I took Halpern for American Federal Government over winter intersession. I thought he was great! He was really helpful and he definitely knows his stuff. He went to Stanford. HIGHLY recommended!

Obviously the person who applied comments below is the same person. It might be Halpern himself. It's a pretty easy class. Unfortunately, it's also so boring it's like watching paint peel. Take this class on a MWF b/c then you don't have to sit thru an hour & 15 minutes. Work is easy though.

BEST Teacher in the Liberal Arts department! Very easy to comprehend the material while maitaning intellectual stimulus the same time. I think the only reason why his classes are easy are that his teaching skills are as equally impressive as his inteligence, which is saying a lot. If you are interested in law, take all his courses.

Nice man. Smart. I can see why some think he is a little dry, but undergrads should praise his name, because they don't know what a HARD prof is like. Liberal, but doesn't hold it against you if you are conservative. I liked him. Take notes and study, but you should have to do that anyway.
