She's definitely a good teacher. As a person, I really like her, but her grading is brutal. She is definitely recommended if you want a challenge. If you're an English or Writing major, this is the class for you. But if you want an easy A, you might want to look elsewhere. She does not mess around.

Professor Roddy is a good teacher and gives a reasonable amount of work for an English class. She is clear about her expectations, and she gives ample time for you to turn in papers. If you can write well, show up to class, and meet deadlines this a good class to take. If you procrastinate and cannot master an essay then you won't succeed.

She is a very good teacher as long as you do your work on time. She gives you plenty of time to complete your papers, and she assigns checkpoints before the final draft is due. Definitely recommended!

She is an O.K. Teacher, I think that she can choose favorites. She does not really explain things well, although since I'm pretty good at English I did well on most papers. I wouldn't recommend her if you are not always on time, and already a good writer because she doesn't offer that much extra help.

Whats really funny is that the people that gave Dr. Roddy a bad name are the students that dont use proper english..this teacher is probably one of the best teachers I've had in my entire College career and im taking her again next semester. she may be hard on the grading, but she only does that so you can improve. nothing else. TAKE HER

U noe wad, nobody is perfect, so dun expect an essay with no errors on it! Altho I get all As now, I am not eligible for scholarship bcoz of ur C!

The students in the class I was in really liked Dr. Roddy. Shr helped us get to know each other and I made several friends I'mm still in touch with. She's a great teacher.
