This was the last class I needed in order to get my AA and of all the teachers Ive had (and I had tough teachers!) she was the hardest. I went over my work 3 times and had peers review it and it still wasnt good enough in her OPINION. She takes forever to grade your work. Terrible terrible terrible grader and instructions are NOT clear.

I wish that Kathleen Lazarus could teach all my classes! I took her class online, but I would love to take one in person. She is easy to communicate with, and gives wonderful feedback. She clearly has a passion for literature as well teaching. As strange as it sounds, I was sad when the class ended. If you have the opportunity, TAKE HER CLASS!

Professor Lazarus is by far the best Professor I have had. Although this course was taken online, Professor Lazarus was prompt with responding to e-mails and concerns. She is exceptionally caring, and accommodating. Her assignments are easy to understand and complete, and are very interesting. I would absolutely recommended her to future students.

I wish all of my professors were half as concerned about their students as she. Even after retiring and teaching as an Adjunct Professor, she gives the best feedback and is encouraging, and accepting of different ideas.

This class has a few group projects where participation matters. The topics used for essays and projects were pretty boring. She hates perfume and cologne and loves bringing goodies for the students to eat.

Professor Lazarus is amazing. She is caring, helpful and wants all her students to pass her class. You will have to do 4 projects but they are really simple. You have to do a research paper, but she will give you time and practice to be prepared. I really liked her class. There are discussions and a presentation. Easy A if you dedicate time to do it

Mrs. Lazarus is the most accepting and caring English professor I have ever had. She doesn't judge students, not even if they ask ignorant questions. She is always willing to help students in any way she can. If you respect her, put in effort towards the assignments, and go to class even when you think you don't have to, you will succeed.

Prof Lazarus is wonderful, she is very realistic and willing to help any way possible. She always responds to emails within a couple hours, she does not require a text book she provided all the reading material:)Only thing is she does take her time with the grading but if you have concern email her and she will help you.I would take her again.

Prof. Lazarus is a very generous and fair grader. She appreciates effort more than anything, which makes the class more relaxed and interesting. She didn't post a grade until after midterm. I would still highly recommend her class. It has been very engaging.

Overall, she's a nice lady, but when it comes to grading she is very slow. I would rat take her online because its easier and you do more in class. She usually doesn't email you back and its hard to get in contact with her outside of class.

Best teacher, recommend her to all my friends. Don't buy the text books unless you are lost when it comes to grammar. She puts you in groups a lot which allows you to know people better and faster. I've made several really good friends from her classes. Every time I do a course search, if I see her name, I sign up for the class.

like the previous people noted, do NOT expect to have your stuff graded in a timely manner. depending on how long your semester, it is quite possible to take 4 to 6 weeks for your first assignment grades. Easy class if you do the work.
