Comment:

Content is heavy but manageable if you prep notes before lecture. Once I tuned into the lectures, I realized they were actually incredibly helpful at connecting material and hinting important concepts for testing. An amazing, understanding, engaging and caring. Do slides only, and please study. Know all drug generic name, class and desired action.

Amazing amazing amazing prof. Favourite so far. She is great at teaching and really cares about her students doing well. Explains things very clearly and makes it easier for you to understand

Comment:

Kathy was my one of my favourite professors so far. She is so caring, knows all the students & checks in with all. This is a course you have to work for, but having Kathy teach it was truly a blessing. I attended every single class because of how well she teaches and she gives examples that really stick with you. I wish she taught other courses!!!

Not a course you can get through without studying and attending class. Kathy does a great job explaining everything but skips a lot of slides and gets straight to the point.

She was pretty good up until the first test. But, she takes no participation too personally and in turn accuses the whole class of not reading, as she skips through important pathodrug slides ("readlook them up them yourselves"), and being extremely passive aggressive. My colleagues get verbally attacked when they answer wrong- bad environment.

no point of going to class. You won't learn anything. Just stay home, sleep in, do your readings and make sure you GOOGLE why & how everything occurs cuz the textbook don't say and neither does she. Horrible at explaining. Can't approach her she will eat you alive. You can ask her how her day was & she'll reply w "u should have done ur readings"

Great prof and a great resource. She cares that you do well in her class. Hence, she will post different resources that can boost your learning/understanding of the topic, mostly animations. She explains/teaches very clearly. She's also the the 2nd year coordinator, and she is very helpful and interested that you succeed in the program.

Kathy Ellis is an amazing teacher.She wants her students to do well and truly cares about you.She is very organized and posts lectures online so you can print them out as a guideline for class. She uses a lot of pictures and uses her hands to describe things which I found very helpful in path.She also helped me outside the classroom.Top notch prof!

She's very nice and fair. I had her for Patho class, and I liked it very much. She makes classes very interesting. All the information learned from her classes are very helpful in clinical placements.

Great Prof. Had her for Patho and is very helpful and encouraging. A very good counsellor as well if you need support. Amazing teacher. She makes patho quite interesting. I'm glad I had her as a teacher!
