one of the worst english classes i've taken. she is a horrible teacher and focuses too much of her midterm and final on "modernism" and "post modernism" but never actually defines what it is or what she is looking for in her assignments, which are vague and impossible to understand. do not take this class!

She is too vague in what she wants in her assignments. She'll judge and grade your papers in ways that are unfair. She didn't return grades papers in a timely fashion as well. She's very boring and it seems like she doesn't put much effort into teaching.

Prof. Gentile is the worst teacher I've ever had. After 4 yours of taking classes, she is by far the most vague, least helpful and boring teacher. Take my advice: don't take classes from her!

The class was extremely boring, and Gentile was very vague about paper assignments. Half of the time she didn't even know what she expected from the class. The class was not that hard, but a lot of reading was required. She is not very strict, but her vagueness can drive you batty!

She lets the class participate a lot, which is good, and she is good at discussing the works. The test in this class was similar to any survey course. Not too hard. I enjoyed this class a lot.

Ms. Gentile expects you to be prepared and participate in class. Her discussions are always thought-provoking, and she makes literature interesting (even fun).
