this class is SO boring. i agree with one of the other commenters, he doesnt teach anything about the language just talks about things like phonebooks and pseudo code, but expects you to know it for the assignments. not a good prof.

Terrible instructor. Does not teach you anything about the language you are learning and expects you to magically know how to do the assignments and labs. Be prepared teach yourself everything using the text and internet. Lectures are completely useless but you have to go because he has "snap quizzes"

He's is a terribly boring prof, that was no help whatsoever regarding questions. He marks his way or the highway, despite programming being more of a forge your own way type of class. Complete waste of time going to the lectures and the TAs don't come to the labs. This class was absolutely terrible.

Knows what he is talking about.Easy to get good marks on assignments, but some of the assignments take a lot of time and effort.I learned a lot from this class.Nice guy, some may find him boring but I liked him.As long as you do your work and read the notes the exams are pretty straight forward. The first exam had some tricky m/c questions.easy final

Real dry class, you don't need to go except for java and html. For the midterm and final just go over the slides text is a waste o money

He's very thorough and explains things in a very clear manner. In spite of that, this class was relatively hard for a 1st year class (at least the midterm class avg was rather poor). It's possible that the final made up for that because it was quite easy, but take it if you're familiar w/ comps.

Class was really boring. Basically he just reads the slides and then goes and tells stories about how he helped designed the payment system for paws.usask.ca. His class is easy though. Print off the notes and head to Louis' and just read the notes for the midterm/final.

Casual kind of guy. Great for clarifying material if you need it. If not, don't bother going to class except for JavaScript and HTML. Print out the slides from the website and do the required reading and you should be good to go.

Knows his stuff and tests are really easy. Good guy to answer questions and really can explain things in a way people who know nothing about computers can understand unlike most Professors.

Not really a prof, just teaches a night class. Works for the university in IT and really knows his stuff. Always answers any questions clearly, and uses good examples. Assingments and tests arent too hard. Makes class interesting with his knowledge
