Amazing professor!! The course content is hard so you must read before class and go to class. This class is not impossible as long as you are willing to put in the effort. The girl who currently sits next to me has a 100 in the class. Dr. Sufka loves his job and he is extremely available and will do anything he can to help you succeed

Sufka is very engaging. He will give you what you put in. He seems intimidating at first, but that is because he has high expectations. Go to class, take strong notes, prepare just as he tells you and you are bound to be successful in the class!!

This class is NOT a GPA booster (Fall 2015). We took 4 hard exams, & those are the only chances for grades. Take excellent notes. Do your reading assignments for the unit. If you are ever not sure of a concept, meet with him in his office. He's an excellent lecturer,& actually pretty funny. Hardest class I ever loved. He helps the willing!

I loved this class, for the most part. There are days when he gives these awesome, inspirational lectures... and then some days, he drags on so much you fall asleep. However, there is no doubt about his enthusiasm for psychology or his students. I don't think I've ever seen a professor tear up on our exam day, because we were no longer his students

He's an awesome teacher who really cares about his students and the materials that he is teaching. If you make an effort, he'll provide you with all the resources you need to make an A in the class. I'd definitely take it again. Great class!

Amazing teacher! 319 was the hardest class I took freshman year, but also my favorite. HIGHLY recommend if you are at all interested in physiological psych.

Comment:

Sufka was a great professor. Although you must work for your grade in the class, there was not one boring lecture. He knows what he is talking about and has great experiences. At times he will be very conceded, but it's only because he knows all the work he has accomplished. I would definitely recommend him!

Extremely difficult to study for. If you ask a question he makes you feel stupid for asking and attacks you. The only grades are 4 exams & the possibility for bonus points if you participate in an experiment. This is the hardest class I take and it's only an elective irrelevant to my major, I wish I could switch professors or drop.

At first, I thought Sufka was going to be a good professor. But as the semester passed by, I did not like the class anymore. He was very into himself, and made the tests way harder than what he led them on to be.

He is an awesome teacher. You have to go to class because the stories he tells will be on the test. Studying is important but if you go to class you will do okay. Also do the extra credit. You may need it in the end.

Comment:

Dr. Sufka is by far one of the most influential professors I have yet to have. I took general psych with him, just for a humanities, I'd never had psych before. After falling in love with psych because of him, I went ahead and took brain and behavior. Dr. Sufka changed my entire career path! He is the reason why I am in LOVE with psychology today.
