Comment:

The 5 wk summer class was very quick and sometimes overwhelming. But he was helpful when needed and fully explained each question asked. The test, hw, lab, and quizzes are easy. But I do not reccomend the 5 wk class. He's moved on to Howard Payne.

MATH 1414 AND MATH 2412. VERY GOOD TEACHER. JUST GOTTA PAY ATTENTION. TESTS ARE EASY AND IS GOOD ON MAKEUP TESTS IF SOMETHING COMES UP.

pre-calc.I know tons of info about his time on a ship.We know tons of stuff about his son. Gets off track very easily. Teaches off of power point slides...anyone can read them like he does. Huge lag on the recorded lectures. Book does not synchronize with mymathlab and neither sync with test gen. Useless if asked questions...just refers you to the

I took the Pre-Cal online class. The assignments were not difficult, and you had multiple attempts to finish the homework and quiz before the deadline. The test were not that hard if you studied a little bit. If you have a solid understanding of math, you should make an A or B in the class.

Dr. Word has been teaching math in Central Texas or over 30 years . He knows who studies and who doesn't. He knows how to present the subject matter and how to bring the student to it. If you have a chance to take a math class with Dr. Word, do it. You'll understand the meaning of "fun squared".

I took Dr. Word for Cal I-III and Diff EQ. His teching style takes a while to get through but he loves teaching and if you work hard you'll do really well in his class. I had the chance to get to know Dr. Word and he's a great guy and really funny... His lectures always keep you laughing! But warning to all in Diff EQ... the book is awful!

Prof, DiffEQ should be also be 4 Credit Hr. At NJIT/Cornell, this course simply won't transfer. The course does not prepare student sufficiently for hard science major at top schools. Need to Cover Fourier, Sys.of.Eq, and Bessel Exp.

Easy professor, all you have to do is study his notes and you'll ace every exam. Class size gets smaller when you gets to Calc III (Summer)
