Comment:

Professor Fister was always willing to help outside class and to make sure you understand everything that is being asked of you. There is group work involved in this class. Every test, he allowed for us to have a half sheet front and back of notes. He makes everything easy to understand and you can tell he enjoys his job.

Comment:

I'm not great at math but he makes things super clear. He always stays after class to help out with any questions you may have, and he makes tests as easy as possible for everyone. Definitely recommend!

Comment:

This class was easy for me because I took it in high school and already knew most of the material, but for others in the class it was hard. His lectures are so boring, slow, and monotone. If I did not know the material already I would have struggled. Final was the hardest test taken throughout the course, so try and build up your grade prior to it.

Comment:

Class was pretty chill. You only have 4 tests including the final. For each test you get to have an index card or half sheet of paper as a cheat sheet, so there is no reason to fail one of his tests. For the final you get to have a full piece of paper and any of the index cards from previous tests. The homework is all online and class isnt required

Never there during posted office hours. Not very good at explaining problems. Just posts notes and never actually explains how to do it. Group work at least once a week.

You will have homework, but it's not that bad- just long and tedious. Come to class every day and get extra points on any one test. Tells you what you did wrong on the tests, which is nice. Does not give clear lectures and just sort of tells you what to do, not how or why, but it's easy. Tests and HW count 50/50, which is nice. Homework can save ya

There is absolutely no reason why you should not get an A in this course. He is so helpful and his tests are exactly like the practice tests, with the numbers just changed. Gives extra credit for just coming to class. Class rarely runs the full 30 minutes. Very helpful and easy to contact. Very laid back. Fully recommend.

If you barely know anything about math, you'll struggle. If you're a mathematical genius, you'll asleep. This class is best for those who aren't great at math but do know the basics. He is an easy grader, uses simple material,& allows you to use a half page of notes on tests. Not the best teacher, however. He pretty much just read his notes to us.

Great class! Great teacher! I do not enjoy math at all, but Mr. Fister did a great job teaching the class. The tests are not that hard. There are 3 tests and a final, other points come from group work and homework. Take Mr. Fister!

If you were bad at math at all in high school, don't take him. He's a very nice man but isn't very helpful. He does give a sheet of paper for notes during a test, but doesn't do a very good job explaining material to students who are bad at math. I don't recommend him if you have had trouble with math prior to this class.

Best math teacher I've ever had. Yes, the class is pretty easy as far as if you show up and do the homework, you'll do fine. But knowing that ahead of time really took the pressure off, so I was able to learn math easily for the first time in my life. I didn't even need all the bonus points after all!

He is sooo amazing, this class is easy fun...you have a total of 5 test, i think. You do group works, you get out really early. He lets you on the test use a half of sheet of paper to put notes on and on the final he lets you us a whole sheet front and back...TAKE HIM!!! easy A

He's a very nice man and is willing to help you as much as needed. I struggled in this class because I'm horrible at math; he helped me and I got through the class with a passing grade. Got to class everyday and do the homework, because he does take it up from time to time.

Kenny Fister is the greatest thing alive!!! This class was so easy. He basically draws a picture on the board and tells you to connect the dots. I missed a lot of class due to my bad sleeping habbits and still got a B. Take Mr. Fister! He is the best teacher ever.

He is really nice and will help you if you need it. Go to class because he gives attendance bonus points. He also prints your notes out for you and does plenty of examples. Do the homework he assigns because it will help you.

Comment:

I really struggled through math in highschool, but breezed through this class. As long as you come to class and do the homework. He is kind of boring though. Compared to the other prof that teaches this course, he gives less homework and sticks to the easier problems. All of the notes are online and he lets you have formulas written out for tests.
