Mr. Denney is amazing. He loves math but understands it does not come easily for everyone. He gives extra credit, no homework, and only 2 exams(midterm and Final). He gives take home worksheets and helps ypu in class eith them. Gives review a day before exams. Unfortunately he is leaving PCC. He is a great instructor and I am hoping he comes back!

Comment:

Kevin is sincerely invested in the success of his students. Whether you're coming back from taking a break from math or simply continuing in the college series, TAKE KEVIN! He's organized, gives clear lectures and is patient. Attendance is mandatory to understanding the curriculum and passing the class. Final is very reasonable as are the quizzes.

Mr. Denny was the best math teacher I have ever had. I hate math, he loves it. He is very clearly spoken. A great quality for a math teacher to have. I feel like he would do anything he could to help the students out. I don't know how he could have thought the class any better. Make sure to turn in assignments on time and show up for class!

Rushes through material, 2 sections a class, awkward asking questions, quiz and worksheet every class, no late/makeup work.Mid term and final are worth 900 points but amount to 20 problems combined. So if you miss 6 problems total, you're probably going to fail. He's kinda funny, and seems like a good guy, but his point system sucks. Good luck.

Kevin Denney loves math. And thats really all you need. One of the greatest math teachers I've ever had. He's not to strict about homework but the class time is worth going. He's funny and teaches new ways to look at math. Highly Recommended!

Kevin made math so clear for me. I have struggled with algebra since forever, and his teaching style made it super-easy for me. I really dig the way he makes things totally understandable. If you can take any math class from Kevin, seriously--do it. It's too bad PCC doesn't have him full time, because he's amazing! Wish I could take 65 from him...

Before Mr. Denney, I hated Math. After taking classes with him, math seemed like ABC to me! Unfortunately, he doesn't teach 65 and once again I don't understand math nor do I like it anymore. If you habe him, be grateful. HE'S THE BEST MATH TEACHER YOU'LL EVER GET/HAVE!!! HE REALLY IS THE BEST!

He is very thorough, clear, attentive, and will have students go up to the board to challenge themselves to solving problems taken right out of the book. All quizzes are done in groups while handing out take-home tests to finish and return next class. I wish I had him for a teacher in High School. He makes math extremely easy and easily solvable.

Like most people math is not my strength, and truthfully most math teachers are annoying,are bothered by the questions and go to extremes. Mr. Denney is just Awesome!!! He goes by fast, by takes his time to explain, he is very down to earth, yet professional. He is understanding that he is working with adults and doesn't micromanage the class.

NEVER have I understood math because if that I was afraid of it and hated it. He made me LOVE IT!! Wish he could teach all my levels of math I have to take. :( Not my luck! Would recommend him to anyone! He loves his students! Never lets one fall behind because the lack of undertanding. GREAT TEACHER!

Thank god for this guy! I've had such bad experiences w/ math teachers @ PCC I became AFRAID to go to my math classes. Finally a math teacher at PCC with a soul. He actually teaches math, doesn't talk endlessly about other things, and doesn't make you feel bad if you get a answer wrong. I no longer have panic attacks before class. Thank you Kevin!

I am not good at math. I'm terrified of it. Saying that, Kevin is the most kick-a55 teacher I've had at PCC. He is so funny, and ensures that everyone 'gets it' before moving on. He truly cares about his kids. I highly recommend him.

AMAZING teacher!Very thorough,answers questions very well and more in depth if needed. Very organized class, short tests and quizzes. Homework is due on a chapter basis(once all the sections are covered and it's test time you turn in the book work).No late work. Regular grade printouts! All in all great teacher,wish i could have him for all math!

I LOVE Kevin's teaching style. I've had a long history of bad math teachers, but by the middle of the term I found myself looking forward to this class. Kevin is funny and engaging and goes over every problem with you until you understand the concept. Do your homework and you will do well.

I have never met a math teacher I truly liked until Mr. Denney. He's so patient. He encourages questions and really leads the class along at a pace that they are comfortable with. He explains things in a variety of ways to make it more understandable. I wish I could take his class for every math credit I need.
