If you show you are TRYING really hard, he rewards you with points. For instance, if you work through a problem and you have the method correct, but you screwed up on your negatives or made some other silly mistake, he will give you 3-4 out of the 5 points for that problem instead of a 0. Blackboard IM is great to communicate with him!

I did his 108 & 130 classes online. He is very helpful/willing but sometimes his explanations didn't make sense to me; however, that's just my brain. He was willing to spend HOURS at a time one-on-one using Skype (better qual. than Bb) and the whiteboard feature on Bb. Not so good at emails, but SO willing to meet onine at a time convenient to you

Kevin's math class was set up well. I was nervous to take an online math class, but it ended up being a lot better than what I thought it would be. It was go at your own pace, and he responded to emails semi quickly. There were two different approaches to completing assignments which was nice because you weren't stuck with just one option.

Honestly, I love the way his online math class is set up. It's work at your own pace, which is very nice. I would take him again. Super helpful and responds promptly!

Took for both 108 was great for that class VERY helpful AWESOME instructor. Took again for finite. Not such a great experience. Class was VERY hard and was not very helpful the 2nd go around.

Not a fan of internet courses! But if I did again I would make a point to take K.Olsen. I felt he gives more then enough extra credit and tests were easy enough not to get a B in the class at minimum. I took his class by process of elimination due to NIC having horrible Finite teachers beside K.Olsen and when available J. Klassen. This was the firs

Teacher is very good. He is also very helpful and knows his subject. I hate math but look forward to his class anyway. If you must take a higher math class I recommend taking one with him.
