She's very sweet, and her class was a little challenging. She'll definitely work with you and try to help in any way she can. The only downfalls is she's very old school and soft spoken, so the class can get a little boring.

great teacher! Her lectures are a bit boring, but as far as assignments go shes very fair. She gives a check sheet with all the criteria that she wants to see on the paper and as long as you meet the criteria you get an A. It's not like other English classes where you don't really know what the professor wants from you, shes very clear.

An amazing professor! She is a strict grader, but not impossible at all. She clearly lays out her expectations and gives good feedback. For each of the longer papers you will have a 15-min mandatory draft conference at some point during the week instead of classes (big plus!). If you are willing to put in the effort, you can get an A in this class.

Great teacher! 101 is mostly about reading and interpreting. Speak up in her class and involve a lot of your opinion in papers. She's very helpful and can make herself available when necessary. Hands down one of the best English teachers on campus. She's easy to understand, especially if English isn't your strongest point. There isn't always class!

Easy professor, which is exactly what to expect for a 100 level class. As long as you've got good grammar and decent rhetoric skills, you should have an easy A. Also, she says "mmm'kay" after every other sentence just like Mr. Mackey from South Park.

Easy, friendly, laidback teacher. She wishes for you to do your best and pass the class. Extremely willing to help you out with anything you're having trouble with. Easy to talk to - seems like she's never in a bad mood. Very knowledgeable about literature and writing. Big on class participation. Overall, pretty easy class and very cool teacher.

Great teacher! Really passionate about English. Isn't harsh, grades are fair. Just do all of the reading, participate in class discussions, and show up (takes attendence) and you should make an A without too much of a problem. There are several papers, but she is willing to help. Take her! I became an English major in part because of her class :o)

Do your readings, show up for class, and turn things in on time and you will do great. Don't put things off til the last minute or you will struggle greatly. There is a 10 pg. research project due at the end of the semester; however, it is easy to do if you get to it. She is really nice, helpful, and friendly.
