He made this class as one of the hardest math class this semester. He had good average last semester so wantedly warned us and made the course even more harder. His homeworks are hard af and took very long. His exams were also hard. No review. He has pop quizzes every alternate class where he asks some useless questions where no one knows anything.

If you want to minor in Maths, pick the other class. This class is more for comp sci + economics major. Such a waste of time, money and harm gpa for last semester. If youre interested in the class, pick up the book, lecture is merely useless. Professor has no inspiration and his monotone makes you sleepy. You have more options than only this.

Homework is heavy, and due every ten days. Tons of reading. Professor expects that you spend about 10 hours outside of class every week doing the reading and the homework. Lectures were pretty boring. He quizzes to make sure you are keeping up. On the plus side you will learn stuff from the class, though it leans heavily toward economics.

He speaks too quietly and doesn't know the material well enough to convey it without stumbling over words and powerpoint slides. Also told students he was making the course harder since he knew Computer Science students were taking it.

Had him for honors stat. Easy A class, poor teacher. After 1st week, I learned NEVER to make mistake of listening to his lectures. Extremely redundant & OVER-complicates simplest of concepts. Online practice testsbonus points on tests. DO THEM. Test questions will be in same format as the online quizzes AND online practice test. Difficulty lvl: -5

He's a great professor, very clear and precise. He knows his stuff. Linear algebra's definitely not an easy class. I flunked the first test, and I wasn't the only one. I went to tutoring, though, and after that, it was a lot easier. He's there if you need help--don't be afraid to ask. Also, there's a curve at the end, since a lot of people fail.

Great professor, would highly recommend. Very nice and easily reachable (via email, office hours / appt, or TA's). Has daily in class quizzes (basically for attendance), HW due about one a week, and a few tests. Would highly recommend, truly the one to take and no one else, if he teaches your class, make your schedule,& fit his class in. Go coogs.

He's brilliant. In my opinion he goes over the material slowly. There is homework due every week which is a good thing as it helps you learn the material. He lectures from start to finish.

Overall, Josic is the best math prof I've had. His lectures are clear, if a bit dry. But that comes with the nature of cal 2, which is about integration tricks and weird applications of cal. He does give a lot of homework, which you must COMPLETE to get ANY credit. But as a result, you'll understand calcululs better than anyone else with other profs

Would give you a ton of notes and only go over certain examples in class, expecting you to figure out the ones left blank. Those would usually be on the quizzes/test. SKIMMED BRIEFLY over topics for the final, basically did only proofs in class. He did at least give time to do poppers before coming to class, but I would not take him again. Not easy

Dr. Josic is very smart and organized. He speaks very quickly but clearly in lecture and is relatively approachable. He is a bit disrespectful to students at times and assumes you know certain things. Exams are predictable and aren't too bad if you do all of your work and study. Keeping up with all of the assignments and quizzes can be difficult.

Has an interesting accent which isnt hard to understand. You'll get the feeling that hes a good natured guy who seems to give his lectures some thought. obviously its easy to get behind. i only missed 2 classes. poppers every now and then. does not like when people miss his class or leave early. i liked him and would take him again. :)

just go to class for the poppers, the textbook is way harder than the tests. Tests are similar to quizzes. Go to CASA, find a tutor, go over the quizzes, and you will be fine.

Prof Josic often works problem till the very last step; though this seemed basic/time-consuming, I greatly appreciated it toward the end of the course.Didn?t review much for tests, ESP the final, but all questions types that showed up were similar to those covered in notes. Great Prof!I would take him again any day.Oh, & his cuteness is undeniable.

If you are going to take Calculus 2, don't choose him! Choose Balthzar if possible, trust me. I had to study hard to make my C+ in this class (I made in A in calc 1 with Balthazar). All he teaches in class is proofs. Teaches straight from the book and the examples he does are extremely basic. Does a very poor job as a teacher. Nice guy though.

In my opinion, he doesn't do a really good job in outlining what he's going to teach. He is really boring and monotone. I don't know where these people are getting attractive from... Anyways, study hard. I would NOT take him again. It seems like all he does is derive formulas in class -_-

Taught directly out of the book. But did not set us up well enough to figure out the homework. 3 tests and final exam which were VERY HARD!!If anything, i learned how to BS the answers and get as much partial credit possible. TA was VERY generous with grading,.. thank god. Wud not risk taking again because of uncertainty with tests and fianl grade.
