Professor Anderson is excellent. She speaks clearly and maintains a clear criteria to her grading and assignments. Her classes are maintenance intensive (There will be plenty of work)! Attendance is mandatory. Exams accurately reflect the lectures. You would be wise to pay attention and get involved with the class to the best of your ability.

Great Teacher! I learned many things. My writing have improved instantly and I enjoyed writing essays in this class. As long as you pay attention and take comprehensive notes (Study!). She is very helpful! Attendance is mandatory since there are quizzes everyday based on her lecture daily. I definitely recommend her as your teacher!

First off let me say that Professor Anderson is here to be more than just a Professor, on the first day she told my class that she here to help us and to prepair us for the real world which made me looked at my class and her as something more than just another college class. She is very understanding and compassionate about her class and her work.

I cannot explain how much i loved this class. She's very passionate about the work and will go over it thoroughly. Interacts with class a lot. A book is not mandatory, you WILL pass the class if you take good notes and understand it; of course there is homework and all, but seriously this teacher is amazing. I would definitely recommend her.

Kris Anderson is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her subject. She put us students through many fun exercises that genuinely help writing ability. I worked hard, did work that deserved an A but received a B because she put more emphasis on tests than was needed. Also, she could update her reading assignments: John Updike's A&P?

Professor Anderson is an incredibly kind professor, I very much enjoyed her class, sure I did not agree with some of the things she said but it is her class, not much I could do about it but just do what I was told, I like her very much, she is honest, respectful an will tell you when you are being rude or disrespectful but not call you out on it.

I took creative writing for the I.E. and didn't know what to think about it. Overall I was impressed about her passion with reading and writing on the first day. This is from my POV but I did notice that when I didn't agree with her fav author there was a slight stigma after wards. If you want an A, praise the author to your hearts content.

I really liked Kris but the class was not that great all the time, but I guess it should not be haha, because it's her job to teach not entertain. However, the class was more fun sometimes, but if you dont like to read or write a lot DO NOT take this class because there is A LOT of both. I recommend this class, even though its not transferable...

I took Eng 1A with Prof. Anderson in Spring 2010. All I have to say is just stay on top of your work and you will succeed -- that is the key to any class, right? She is fair and very helpful. She will answer any questions you may have about the work, provided you give her enough time to answer. DO NOT wait until the last minute to do any work!

I took her class online and found it to be very intense and challenging, but I loved it! She pushes you to learn how to correctly produce a college level paper. I learned so much. If you want an easy A, then this class is not for you.If you want to really learn a skill that will benefit you the rest of your life, then take her. Thanks Mrs. Anderson
