He's hilarious, and I found his lectures to be very entertaining. He doesn't assign many homework assignments, and the papers are straightforward and easy to write. He takes his job seriously and so what he taught during the snowday? I paid the tuition man I better get my moneys worth. Anyways highly recommend :)

Comment:

Loves to lecture and rambles about 50% of the time. When campus closed at 8:20am for a snow day, he refused to let us leave our 8am class even after a campus security officer came. A student got it on camera and it is on barstool pios. Entertaining sometimes, but needs to use lecture time better

Comment:

Larry is a great guy! He is funny, and has so many experiences to chat about. If you miss a midterm or exam he will let you reschedule it. There were only three grades in my class, two being the final and midterm. His lectures are intresting, but sometimes it can get a little dry. Just take a class with him, doesn't matter the major.

Weird dude, but super interesting lecture. Only wants to cover the most interesting parts of the subject material, which is honestly fine for those taking it for the common core credit. Loved the class, will always remember what I learned.

Larry is a hilarious person. The class itself was quite easy, the only assignments being 5, 1-2 page right ups and the midterm and final. The lectures could be very dry at times but Larry tells funny stories. There were 4 TAs in my class but they did not teach the class at all they only helped grade and proctor exams. Overall, quite easy.

Larry is super funny and a cool professor. I personally found his class super dry, its a 8 am lecture every time and it gets long and boring at that hour. The grading and tests aren't that bad. Larry is awesome though.

Larry Conyers is by far my favorite professor at the University of Denver. He is a funny guy who loves what he teaches and will help anyone who needs it. His assignments and tests are very manageable if you come to class and his lectures will always be entertaining.

Larry is such an amazing professor! He really knows a ton about what he's teaching and makes it exciting to learn. We went on a ton of field trips to really interesting places and he really encourages learning through doing which I really liked! Definitely take his class!

Great Guy! Larry is so nice and funny. For this class you get to go on field trips most of the time and only have to write a short paper on each one. Your Peers will envy you. He wants you to learn how to write, he doesn't want to grade you badly.

Larry is and will always be by far my favorite professor. His FSEM class is very interesting and just the right combination of fun and educationalinteresting. I looked forward to class (and field trips) each week with Larry. I would be an anthropology major just to take more classes with him!

Loved this class with all my heart! It is interesting, fascinating, and wonderful. He is an amazing lecturer, and is great at engaging the whole class. The review sessions are incredibly helpful, and the TAs will go over the whole test with you before taking an exam. Notes are posted online, but you don't want to miss a class with Larry!

This FSEM was so much fun and Larry truly made my first quarter a much better experience. Larry is hilarious, approachable, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he is teaching. The field trips were awesome and he took us to some amazing places. No tests, but there are papers due every week about the field trips.

I absolutely loved Dr. Conyers. He's adorable and tells hilarious stories. I wasn;t sure about the subject at first but he is so interested that you can't help but be interested yourself. He had me cracking up all quarter. I would definitely recommend him!

Professor Conyers loves anthropology. He's really knowledgable. He says random stuff in class but is good. You can sit on your laptop during class and take notes. Tests aren't that hard and you have 5 2-page papers per quarter.

Comment:

Professor Conyers is absolutely hilarious. He knows so many things and has done so much that any story he tells in class is either incredibly funny or really interesting, sometimes both. He knows his subject very well, and enjoys class participation--even though it is a lecture setup. Because of him I'm double majoring in Anth. GREAT prof.
