LOVE THIS MAN! He is such a great person as well as a teacher! He has a ton of experience and applies it to the teaching materials. He is helpful about the class and the future. He is super funny as well. Overall I enjoyed this class and his teaching! I recommend that you take this class!

Excellent teacher! Very smart and has a lot of experience, so listen to him. Has a very good sense of humor;if the topic is ever boring, he always makes it fun with all his jokes. Very nice guy-Take Him! Class is pretty easy too, just study what he tells you to highlight. The exams are also curved, so don't sweat it!

Took this course along w/ the online CJE 2100, and they were both a breeze! Has all kinds of experience to go by since he was a former sheriff. He's easy to talk to as long as you don't expect him to treat you as some child. Tests are a breeze, and the outline for them are broken down by chapters.In class or online, I highly recommend him.

great teacher had him for ccj 1020 and cje 1000 for the summer section. got A's in both class. book is require and attendances is mandatory only if u want extra credit..but overall test or easy if u study wat he gives u in the book....and there arent any WRITTEN ESSAY..only writing is a extra credit assignment...highly recommended..great stories to

Great teacher makes the class real interesting with his stories. Pretty straightforward what he says is gonna be on the test is always on the test. The test are easy only if you study.You MUST buy the book all notes come from there. He gives 2 extra credit points and points for coming to class.I would recommend you take him.

Makes it interesting w/ all his stories. You can definitely tell he was a cop by the way he teaches. He does tell you what to study, but his tests are a little hard/tricky sometimes. Gives extra credit assignments & attendance not mandatory but takes attendance randomly for extra credit. I pulled off an A and would take him again.

teaches straight out of the book. You must buy the book, when buying one look for one thats already been highlighted inside. that way if you miss class you dont really miss anything. Tests are exactly what hey says they are. pretty easy class with little effort. He's a good professor as well. recommend taking him if you have the choice.

Hensel is a really good teacher. I had him last semester and I had two classes with him this term. This class is an easy A...All test questions come from the book. If you attend class and have your book you should'nt have any problems!!!

Former Sheriff so he knows what he's talking about. Tests directly from the book, so it's important to go to class to catch highlights for test. Great stories. Sometimes goes into detail about his political beliefs, but overall he's a great teacher, very fair.

Mr. Hensel is a cool guy and an effective teacher. He really enjoys teaching and that makes him very good at it. Attendance is not mandatory and the test wuestions come straight from the study guide.

Comment:

Hensel is a good guy (former Sheriff) and really knows what he is talking about. Tests are easy, questions come right out of the review book and outline (all multiple choice). Take him if you want to get a good clear outline of the Criminal Justice System. (Also gives Extra Credit for attendance.)

Easy A. All that is required is that you attend and at least be somewhat familiar with the issues. No final, no tests, three papers. Boring but who cares... NO TESTS!!!
