Comment:

Dr. Mink is a great professor. He takes the time to go over what you are learning to make sure his students understand. He uploads pdf's of old midterms with a key before the midterm, and they are extremely helpful for studying. The pdf's are practically the same as the current midterm. The textbook is online so he doesn't make you buy it.

Comment:

Lectures are fun and fly by. Don't fall behind and you will be in good shape. Mink loves chem and that makes it easier to learn. His examples are simple to follow. Tests look a lot like his sample exams. Take him for discussion he explains in detail the problems you def. need to know.

Very different teaching compared to Dr. Tate. But still a good choice. 216 is definitely a bit harder than 215, but Mink wants to make sure all his students know the material. Do the homework! The homework is correlated with the exams. And the midterms for the most part look the same as the samples he has online.

Amazing professor. Explains things very well. Attendance isn't mandatory, but attending class is the best way to pass. The material isn't tough, but it's important that you understand the concepts. Tests were easy, as long as you studied the sample tests. Overall, would recommend.

Amazing professor. Chemistry is a hard subject, but he teaches the subject well. His exams are VERY similar to the study guides. Make sure to attend class and study the study guides and you will get an A.

His course was not easy, you had to work for it but he is a great professor. I love him. Overall he's great, he's daddy af tho and he glows when he talks about chem. There is 3 midterms and 1 final (cumulative) and online homework which can be a drag. I recommend him!

Dr. Mink is great. He explains the content thoroughly and pays special attention to the problems that everyone traditionally struggles with. He is the type of professor that wants you to pass. His tests are straightforward and not very difficult at all. Show up, do the reading, and you'll pass the course easily.

I took him for the summer session and his lectures go by pretty fast. Labs and homework can be pretty time consuming. Take good notes, look at the study guide and you should be fine. The class will keep you real busy even if it's the only class you're taking in the summer.

Professor Mink truly knows what he's doing, very nice and humorous. However can go very fast at times and in discussion, he will get someone else to help you so he can go on. Accessible outside of class and will help if you look for it. Straight forward on grading and no extra credit offered, but gives sample midterms, study them with your notes!!!

Chem 216 is not an easy A but he makes the material manageable and understandable. He cares for his students. He deserves instructor of the year EVERY year! He will try his best to explain the concepts in different ways to ensure all his students understand. Very straight-forward. When he says something will be on the exam, IT WILL BE ON THE EXAM!

Amazing professor! Chem 215 was a breeze thanks to him. Explains topics very well, he is very accessible out of class, if he sees that you have worked hard in the class he will bump up your grade. He does not curve the class. PLEASE STUDY OFF THE PRACTICE MIDTERMS HE POSTS ON BLACKBOARD!!!! The exams are practically identical! He is incredible!!!

Dr. Mink is hands down one of the best professors I have ever had throughout my entire college experience. His lectures were easy to follow even though the material was sometimes difficult, he never moved on unless the entire class understood. On top of that he makes jokes during lecture which helps when you are stressing over the material. Amazing
