Quinn lives in the 60s and has no shyness when teaching offensive subject material. She is funny and adorable and is a wonderful professor. A fair grader but not too tough if you put in the work for her papers and exams. Make sure you do all the reading and participate in class and you'll do fine.

I had Prof. Quinn for English 200 and for FS 102. She was always enthusiastic, humorous, and helpful. She uses a lot of class discussion and makes you think. She also grades very fairly. Great English class, great film study FS.

I caught Dr. Quinn dogging out my comp with another professor. They were talking loudly, and I stood outside their offices listening. They were not helpful during the comp process. I felt like they left me to "figure it out" on my own, then belittled my work when it wasn't what they expected. Very poor experience.

Definatley one of my favorite teachers here at Allegheny. She's smart, funny, and constantley enthusiatic about the material. I've leanred a lot in the class. If you don't participate, do the reading, or try hard on the papers, don't expect a good grade. She's always there to answer questions.

Brilliant literary analyst who expects her students to reach out on their own to grasp often difficult concepts of race and ethnicity. Though, as we see often at Allegheny, with the most enjoyable classes comes the most challenging work and Laura Quinn falls directly in line.
