She is amazing and I learned a ton of real world info in her class. I'm not a math person at all but it was easy to understand and I did really well in the class. There's homework due every other class.

Professor Fiscus was an amazing professor! She was entertaining and usually got through all the material she wanted to cover per class. The homework was pretty easy to do as well as quizzes and tests. I always hated math, but Professor Fiscus made it more tolerable, especially since the math is applicable to every day life.

Comment:

Fiscus takes the "quirky professor" bit way too far and I found her to be genuinely annoying at times. The class is laughably easy but Fiscus still stops class to explain things (ex. how to convert months to years). The course was not at all engaging or enjoyable. She's a nice person and great if you need help with something but awful in class.

Honestly Fiscus is a superstar professor. She is so clear about her directions for assignments, she makes class fun to attend, and is available for help any minute of the day. You will have homework almost daily, but its not difficult. Tests and projects are lengthy but reflect the material perfectly. You will pass this class as long as you show up

awesome professor. i hate math and she made me love it. the short homework assignments are a big part of the grade. the tests were not hard at all if you attend class. this class actually taught me useful real world skills. would absolutely take again

Fiscus is amazing! She makes math fun and easy. If you need help she's always there and is excellent at explaining. She can be a little scatterbrained at times, but that's what makes the class fun and entertaining and not a boring math class that drags by. I would highly recommend! It's easy and fun and one of the best classes I've taken.

She is awesome. just pay attention. take all the notes. sit in the front. joke with her-she loves it. she's very helpful and organized. i took her 103 class. SO EASY if you show up and take notes. the notes give you all the answers to the hw and the answers are in the book to check.

Professor Fiscus actually makes math pretty fun. She's funny and the stuff she's teaching (at least in this class) is useful in real life situations, which makes you feel like you're not wasting your time. She's willing to go over things during her office hours and is really helpful if you need anything. Overall, a great class and a great prof.

I'm not a math person, but I actually enjoyed this class at times. Fiscus makes it very easy to understand and some of the material might actually be useful later in life. If you're just trying to fulfill the requirement, take this class.

This is the best math class offered at the college, mostly because of the professor. She is very easy to understand, funny, and she makes the topic relevant instead of using obscure examples or teaching material that doesn't have any bearing on real life. As long as you make an effort, it's an easy A.

She's never taught math 105 before and it shows. She is often unclear herself on a topic and does not know the material thoroughly. She's very nice but that doesn't change the fact that she's not solid on the math. Fortunately the subject is easy and it's possible to learn by reading the book alone.

She knows her stuff and teaches it to you in way thats easy to understand. She gives you great note packets that are so helpful when studying for exams or final. Even though the class is at night it's worth it.
