NOT A GOOD PROFESSOR! definitely switch out of her class. she makes you feel stupid when asking a question. She would beat around the bush when you asked a question saying you are getting ahead or won't have an answer. Her test were really hard she didn't give good hints to remember anything. She does not review for any exams or quizzes.

Comment:

Most bland professor I've ever had. No facial expression what so ever. Very quiet and read right from her PowerPoints so it was hard to stay awake. DOES NOT tell you examples that relate to the content so it's hard to understand. Mastering is optional but DON'T bothering studying the questions because she puts none of them on her tests.

I thought she was great. Her packets cut to the chase of the info and if you study them, you'll ace her exams. A and P is tough so to say her class is boring isn't fair. Come to class, fill in the blanks and study.

Drags class on to the last minute. Hard to listen to because she is so boring. I would rather go through surgery than sit through this class. Find a different professor.

Several people on here have said that she's "rude," but she's just very stoic. She's really quite kind, just doesn't go out of her way to cradle her students' ego. Her packets are very well-organized, and as long as you study wisely you will be just fine. She tells you exactly what to write in them very slowly so it's easy to keep up with notes. <3

Ugh I wish I had a different teacher. Agreeing with everyone else, she makes you feel stupid when you ask a question, beats around the bush when you ask a question, says you're getting ahead. Isn't very friendly. The tutor lab is a must!!

She is the most strict professors I've had here. She is not the most professional professor. If you ask a question 9/10 times she will answer it with your getting a head or avoid it and answer a different question.

Since the first day of lab. She started attacking me. This is my second time taking it and she is so rude and talks to the class like everyones stupid. She reads too slow. Books are mandatory. Shes very annoying. Comes after me every class by making some snarky comment. Take a different lab teacher. Helpful for lab practicals though.

She is willing to help out when you need it. She reviews what we learned last class before we start new material. She provides extra credit on your tests if you complete optional online homework assignments and also has a curve on her test. Those online assignments really brought my grade up and are like practice test!

No better choice for A&P 1. The exams are straight from the packets, go to class and you will pass. She explains things to the level that you need for the exam, no more no less, which is helpful when you have a full plate of classes. I didn't have to go digging in the textbook to find obscure facts, if it wasn't in the packet it wasn't on the exam

First off, Professor Bonaventura always had came off rudely. Was not helpful when asking a question she would look at you like you are stupid. She says to study the material which was done but then half it was not even on the exam. For her lab she would not come around asking if there were any questions. Overall, she was a horrible teacher.

I honestly don't care for this teacher. She is very bad at explaining the lessons during lecture. You learn just as much by the textbook. Also she can't project her voice loud so she has to repeat herself multiple times.

At first I thought prof didnt like me... I took it kind of personal, but realized that she is just that way with everyone. If you work hard she is fair. Was able to do so well because of the tutor room and learning the bones and muscles there. Have to spend the time to get the grade!

Amazing professor! Tests were difficult, but fair. Only would test what we were given in the study guides, as long as you memorize those you'll be set. I think she is wonderful and explains material very well. Would absolutely recommend!! Also gave extra credit opportunities.

Comment:

Tests comes mostly from her packets. Mastering assignments (which are optional) are helpful for getting bonus points on exams and also few questions from there are on the exams. There are quizzes usually after every chapter and they help you to prepare for the exam. She also tells you what diagrams would be on the exam. Overall a great professor!

I enjoyed the subject, and got an A, but it is a very tough class to do well in if you aren't interested in what she is saying. Overall, a very thorough professor, and will take shortcuts in the textbook if the information isn't necessary. If you pay attention in class, you will barely need to use the textbook.

It's LAB class, u show up study u'll do fine. There's a weekly quiz bout the material covered the previous class. I like that she gave use 3 practicals not 2 which lightened the work load! Eager to help if you had questions, funny, liked 2 read off the note packets..which btw need more room to take notes! was the only negative thing, overall great!

Comment:

She read her notes off too fast and never was able to answer any questions outside of what was in the packet. No study guides and not very involved with the class, anyone who I have talked to about her agrees that she knows her stuff, just very poor at conveying it.
