Great teacher, I really liked how involved she was in the class. This was by far the best online class I've taken. I learned so much about each island! Make sure you buy the textbook because you will need it. She offers an extra credit paper.

Originally thought I would learn about Hawaii... but I was wrong, I learned so much about a lot! Lots of reading, articles, videos- however, beneficial to one's development and knowledge about the world around us. I liked the organization of the class, the weekly videos from the professor was a nice touch, and the final project was beneficial.

Dr. H has several assistants. She does a weekly video about the section and is very knowledgeable about the topic. You can make an A in the class if you do your assignments which include reading. There were a couple of projects but at this level, it's nothing that should be too difficult. She does try to help when it is needed. Interesting class.

Easy assignments, build on one another. Read the chapters in text book, only like 10-15 pages long, easy to glance over what its about. 3 sentence discussion posts, yes 3 sentences only! easy!! Easy quizzes, 10 questions T/F from book. Test questions straight from short online lessons, easy skim. Test essay questions straight from discussion posts.

Take this class if you need an easy A! Professor Henry is really nice and there are a lot of discussions you have to read the book to complete, but they're easy if you put the time aside. One power-point presentation, a few quizzes, 4 chapter tests and discussions are what make up your grade. Easy easy easy!!!

Course was interesting and not overly challenging. If you do the work, it should be easy enough to pass. Test information was mostly from the lessons posted, with some from the reading and questions weren't meant to "trick" you. The IA's and Dr. Henry were all very helpful with any issues or questions, and she seemed to really care about the region

There is a significant amount of reading required of this course, but is not an issue with proper time management. Assignments and grading criteria are outlined clearly. Dr. Henry and her IA's are willing to assist if there are complications/confusion. If you do the unit and chapter readings, you should have no trouble with the tests and quizzes.

Internet course was great! Discussion boards were easy & gave opportunities for extra credit. Tests were straight from the modules and discussion board questions. One PowerPoint project that wasn't hard. She's a great professor and is there for her students. Posted videos to help students understand and made sure everyone understood what to do.

Felt like a guinea pig taking this course online (as it was her first time teaching as so). Love the class--really easy to make an A if you simply 'do' the work. A lot of reading, but discussions can be answered lightly for full credit. She wrote the exams as we took the course so this meant that exams were easy. One lecture powerpoint project.

I made ANTH my minor after attending Dr. Henry's class. The more ANTH classes I take, the more I've appreciated her class. Even in a very large class she includes class discussion, and she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable on what she teaches. She was also very understanding that I had a 1 mile walk to class in 10 min, and helped me when I had to be late

She is very interesting, she made me fall in love with her class! All she asks is that you come to class and stay the whole time. There is a ton of reading and HW although the HW is not mandatory, and she discusses it in class the next day if you stay to listen. Her tests are hard and so are the quizzes but easy if you do what you are supposed to!

The work is difficult, but worth every minute of it. The content is so fascinating you can't help but get sucked in. Since I've taken her course I see everything through an anthro lens. Though I am not an anthro major, her class made me wish I was.

Good professor, I remember her being pretty interesting, but not too easy. Not extremely hard though, think you could make at least a B if you actually went to class and paid attention.

You have to go to the lectures, there is not book for the class. If you missed a lecture, you were just out of luck for those class notes. She quizzes on the readings we had to do.
