If sarcasm, R-rated movies, and curse words are NOT your thing don't take this class. Otherwise, its probably my favorite class this semester. Lloyd is super funny and really passionate about the class. You'll never be bored. Plus you only meet twice a week and get to watch movies everyday.

He's elaborate, concise, and inspiring. His approach to the subject, much like the subject, is very broad in its scope and allows lots of room for creativity. He's pretty lenient as far as assignment requirements go, and the movies he chooses are always a delight for a movie lover, and equally as great for those fresh to the love. (AKA No Godard)

I took his Cinema class and it was very nice. Exactly what I expected from the class, but better quality. He is very clear about what he wants and he doesn't demand a lot. Its one of those classes where you learn a lot but have to do little work. Would definitely recommend.

I like him, but Duman sucks. Who knows how, or what he grades on. All subjective. No preparation. The guy wings it and it shows. He's friendly, and he can be funny, but you don't learn much. Helpfullness really is a BIG HUGE "0." his film class is a joke. The book is good. Duman can read it to you. That is it. Dont waste your time. No!

He is a cool guy but I don't like that all of our assignments are due online. I enjoy our class discussions more than anything, he is truly interested in what we all have to say. When assignments are due are never very clear to me and much of the class.
