She gives out quizzes as the majority of your grade. These are tough. She also gives out group assignments at random times which are worth a lot of points. Dont take her. Her lectures are extremely dry and she doesnt care about the students. When approaching her about personal things, she will tell you she doesnt care...

She's terrible, her powerpoints do not help you prepare for the test, and since she does not give you a study guide, you will have to guess what will be on the test from the textbook chapters. You would think the key words of the chapters would be on the test. however avoid this professor. Class is very dry. she is a nice woman tho

She is very boring, reads off of the slides, but the slides don't cover everything she will put on the exam so you have to read the textbook too. The exams are only 15 questions so it is really hard to get good grades on them. She doesn't take attendance, but she springs random activities that make up a big part of the grade. Not a fun class

Students dont like her bc shes boring, but shes really not that bad. Drops your lowest quiz. Show up to every class bc she doesnt warn you when there will be an in class assignment and those count for a big part of your grade, i missed a couple bc i wasnt aware. Allows extra credit. besides that shes super nice just REALLY boring

Lois is a kind woman but has no flexibility with her policies. Additionally, her class is extremely boring and dry, but it's as straightforward as can be. Her grading criteria and quizzes are all laid out in the syllabus and she follows them almost to a tee. Easy class with expectations laid out but expect no leniency or flexibility.

Class was very disorganized. She brings a sheet of paper to class with her notes and has no powerpoints or handouts. Expects us to be engaged but does little to make the class engaging. Nice lady, horrible teaching

Comment:

I only took this class for the I/O concentration. I got a B in the class. The material is a bit boring and most of what she says will be on the PowerPoint. No exams, but 3 written assignments and a project. Be sure to get a good group for the project/presentation, it's pretty lengthy (she wants each group to have 15 pages of material).
