Semester is over and I'm not sure what I learned. Really great teacher, but we didn't really do anything. You will not recieve any grades the entire semester. Go to class and talk- I believe that is the A I recieved. Enjoy though, she is really enthusiastic about teaching!

TAKE THIS CLASS! Professor Huntley is the SWEETEST person ever. Her classes are pretty much 50 minutes of free time. You do nothing. You have no grades other than 4 papers. She grades very well. I have gotten A/B on every essay with medium effort. If you have a question- she has an answer. VERY eager to help you! Lucky chance to take this class!

Although she sometimes doesn't seem to have a grasp on the class, she really does-it's part of her "de-centralized" model of teaching. What I learned continues to manifest in my further studies, which indicates how deep the learning went. Highly recommended, 'tho keep in mind you may need some patience to understand what she's getting at.

Dr. Huntley's "Writing for Teachers" was one of the most relaex courses to be in. She is extremely sweet and cares deeply about each of her students. She appreciates anything that you bring to the table. Sometimes she can go a bit overboard about that writer's notebook... but she's a definite MUST for any English Major or Education Major. Take Her!

I can take up this whole block with good things to say about her passion and ability to teach. It has nothing to do with your topic choice, it is simply your effort. "seeing through eyes of approximation" --- she just wants you to TRY and to LEARN and to PUT FORTH EFFORT. DO NOT LEAVE UNCW without the experience of Dr. Huntley -- she is amazing.

She started out being really nice but then slowly she started gettin more grumpy and grumpy.The first three papers I wrote were A-'s and a B+ but then she tore the last two papers apart all because she didn't like my topic.She did this to quite a few students.If you are a really liberal writer she will love you, otherwise look out.
