If you miss class, you will not get credit for assignments, regardless of circumstances. Tons of assignments not worth points. Communication is key with her so be up front and honest from the beginning. She comes off prideful about a lot of people failing her class each semester. Get ready to study a ton of material.

Smo is by far the best teacher I have had. She can be goofy at times, but it keeps your attention and really helps you remember things shes teaching. Very supportive and genuinely wants you to pass. "Dia-freakin-betes". Get ready to hear this a lot. She is an awesome teacher.

Smo is, hands down, one of the best, most constructive professors I've had thus far. She has a genuine passion to educate future nurses. She is positive, gives great tools and helpful information. You feel important and leave the class knowing what to expect. Her lectures are entertaining and educational, what more can you ask in Nursing school!

She is the best, I don't think I would have enjoyed learning this information in this course if it wasn't for her upbeat personality. This woman LOVES her job!! Take her out of the professors that teach the Med Surg 1 course. She will take the time and help you, she wants you to succeed!!

Professor SMO is hands down one of the best professors at KCC. I recommend you take her for whatever you can. She is energetic and excited about teaching you. Definitely listen in lecture and take notes and put in the work and you will be fine

Professor SMO is one of the best instructors at KCC. She genuinely cares about each student. It is so nice not to feel like a person with a number but an individual. I would recommend her for any course that she teaches. LISTEN IN LECTURE. She lectures what you need to know. No surprises. I learned so much from her. SHE IS ALWAYS FAIR.

Lynn is by far the most amazing instructor I have ever had!!! She is super funny, knows her Med/Surg, and cannot wait to teach you. I learned a great deal while I was in her class. She is one instructor that truly made my heart smile :) I hope to have the opportunity again in the future to have her as an instructor...Lynn is top notch!!! :)
