You have online quizzes weekly and you need the book but BUY AN EDITION DOWN (which was $7 compared to the bookstores $140 new edition). You have to go see 2 plays over the semester (i just picked up the ticket but didn't go) and there are a few in class writes that you can BS and still get a good grade on. HIs lectures are longwinded and unrelated

I took his public speaking class, and if you don't mind talking in front of people, it's super easy. The only work you really have to do is actually give your speech - he doesn't require much. The only problem I had is that he had a tendency to go on a tangent when he lectured. Other than that, he was nice and the class was easy.

Super easy class!! Take him. He is seriously so sweet, and is really passionate about theatre. He gives out a lot of extra credit, too. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! I bought it, and I haven't used it once. Bonus: He is funny and you get to watch plays, which take up the whole class time.

He's an easy teacher. Really boring, but that may be partly because I had his class for 2 1/2 hours! He does incorporate a little bit of acting out, but it's all on the spot kind of stuff, so it's easy. Also he never criticizes you when you have to act something out.

Very easy course, pretty easy professor. There's no acting involved. You mainly watch a few movies, talk about them, and have a test over them. A big drawback is that he'll often keep the class over 2-4 minutes while he's talking aimlessly, which sucks if your next class is across campus. Nice guy, easy course.

Mac is different. You can't tell if he likes you or not. Class is boring, but you should go. Tests are short answer, and you have to usher two plays for the semester. I made a B, and didn't try.

An easy A. Only 1 test and some very short quizzes. You do have to attend both plays for the semester and usher each for one night, but that just means you don't have to buy a ticket! He usually lets you play games on Fridays.

easy class. he lets you choose just about anything for speech topics. sometimes he's a little unclear when explaining things. i did 2 of my speeches late & still got an A. he has a lot to say about how you did your speech, but dont take it too hard!

Complete freedom w/speeches, but he'll grade you on how he would have done the speech. Weights his personal knowledge of a subject against your research. 2 tests, both very easy. Will let you miss a ton of classes if you have a good reason and not mark you for it.

it didn't take much teaching on his behalf, because the class was very self explanatory. but when he gave assignments, he gave a lot of personal freedom for students to express their uniqueness. he seemed genuinely interested in everyone's presentations
