Magda makes learning German easy, and you don't realize how much you have learned. She is a native speaker, so she knows the language perfectly. I would recommend taking her for German.

We did a lot of translations out loud in class. There was not much variation so it got pretty boring. The good news is if you have a pulse and you can suffer thru a course with this prof you will get a good grade. You don't even have to go to class all the time.

The first few weeks Magda seems intimidating and goes through material way too fast. After awhile it becomes clear you don't need to come to class except on the days of the mudterm or final to get an A or B. Literally everyone in the class is given an A or B. So don't take this if you actually want to LEARN German- but it is an easy A.

Magda makes you forget you are even learning - while telling interesting stories relating to German history and the culture. She speaks in German for most of her upper division classes and is eager to help you expand your vocab. She's a sweetie underneath too ;) ALWAYS FUN CLASSES!

I owe all of my German accomplishments in the past 2 years to doctor Mueller. She has been inspirational and helpful to such a degree that it has made my major not only a delight, but thunderously intellectual and thought provoking. Thank you so much Magda, you are the best! :D
