Had him for Intro to Programming and C Programming, he is a solid choice, teaches broader knowledge than just what is required. Put in the work to learn on your own time, no programming class is going to be able to prepare you with everything you need to know.

Teaches a lot from the book but only uses code that he feels can be useful. A lot of programming (which I like) and he is very helpful if you ask. BTW he is teaching at a couple of colleges, I'm at Valencia.
