Comment:

It is easy to pass his classes if you study. He is very well organized and fairly clear about how he creates test questions and how you should study. If you are going to be late to his class, skip it. If you miss class, ask a fellow student for notes. He bases his tests almost entirely off lectures.

He knows what he is doing. He practically gives you everything you need to know through the notes. However, YOU HAVE TO STUDY. You will not be able to BS your way through this class. He gives you all the answers, but it is up to you to turn them into flashcards and study them. Your grade is based solely on the 4 tests and nothing else.

Comment:

Mr. Drye blends pop culture& history so that every class interesting. He understands that most students think history is boring so he tries his best & succeeds at making it interesting with the use of various medIa outlets. You can tell that not only does he know his subject, but, he is passionate about it too. More History as an elective, I'm in!

I loved his class, and would highly recommend! His teaching style is perfect for my learning style. He always makes sure you have the tools to pass his class. The only thing is, there is no homework so your only grades are test scores.

Mr. Drye was a very wonderful teacher!! I loved his class and how he put some of his past experiences into his lecture! He is very considerate to his students and understands they have a life outside of class also! I would recommend him to anyone! I loved Mr. Drye! He was all around a great guy!

Comment:

Drye one of the best instructors I have ever had. I think he's funny and that makes the class far more interesting. Some People have referred to him as a journalist on this site- that's one of the reasons why I loved him so much. Fusing pop culture into history class makes it far more memorable --- at least to me it does. Great guy!

It's hard to make history interesting but Mr. Drye managed to do that. Basically go to class, take notes, and study and you'll pass. He does give bonus opportunities but they're not worth a whole lot.

Mr. Drye is funny, the class is entertaining and he is very passionate about what he does. Easy teacher, easy class. As long as you attend class and take note you should pass. Easy multiple choice/true false tests.90% of the questions come from notes. 4 tests total. Hardly ever use the book, only for terms (10% of test).

Mr. Drye, on the first day, struck me as full of life and hilarious. I was intruiged by American History & most of his lectures stuck with me even a year later. For those who didn't like him, there was a common reoccurance, they didn't show up to class or try. He's one of the best teachers I've ever had- period.

This guy is a total joke. The worst history teacher I've ever had. An arrogant Pompous jerk. Thinks he is God's gift to the world, but cannot teach a lick. He is more worried about flirting with the girls and acting like a teenager to actualy be professional. As with moster others at MAC, this guy should be fired.

He's the best! Unlike most history classes, getting to his class was no problem, not because of subject matter, but because of him... he definetly makes histoy more appealing, and if not you can just admire his Marcness (that's a good thing).
