Comment:

Mrs. Redoles had absolutely no understanding of the software program (Etudes) as well as the Vistas delivery program. The course was very unorganized and majority of the class had dropped out due to the lack of compassion for her students, even though she knew the syllabus was not correct. This is coming from a 3.9 GPA with a BSHS.

She is not organized, the class would have been a lot easier if she was more organized & you spent most of your time asking her to update the info. She makes it harder than it should be. Students cannot be spending hours deciphering everything. She tells you she wants something then on the instructions it states diff. She is oblivious to it.

She is not helpful! In her syllabus it states not to ask questions, but your paying to learn? Anyways, if you ask a question she will refer you back to the syllabus (when you already read that many times). Her syllabus is filled with errors, so it is hard to read because of her grammar in English are all wrong & she takes a long time to grade.

Took her last semester. Her English is poor & it makes her instructions hard to understand. I read the syllabus & it is all poor grammar plus she does not update it, so all of it does not make sense. If you ask a question, she will say," read the syllabus." We all read it, she thinks you are not reading it since you are asking her questions.

Comment:

Profesora Redoles is an excellent teacher! If you do your homeowork and go to the lab and participate you are half way there. Her tests are multiple choice and fairly easy. She is funny and cares about her students. I got an A, but I had to work 4 it. This is a good class. She does move faster as the class moves along. I'll take Spanish 2 with her!

She was all over the place during lectures. Some classes were disruptive because of students and she wasn't good at handling that. She always picked on me because I made the mistake of telling her I was a native speaker, but over the years have lost my fluency because I speak english 90% of the time.

I recommend Professor Redoles class because it is good to learn from a native speaker. She chooses to use Spanish most of the time during the class, and avoid translations, which frustrate some students. She is a very nice person who loves teaching.

Great class and easy professor, she's very helpful.There is homework assignments and a Cultural Project, which is fun. The material is well presented and clear. Tests are fair.Professor Redoles is an expert at explaining her native language.

She couldn't speak English. It's so hard to understand her lecture as a foreign student. I've dropped the class, she wasted me 1000 dollars! Don't waste time to take her class.

I find it hard to respect a teacher whose English is so poor, even if she's there to teach another language. She knows Spanish because it's her native language, but can't explain the why and how of it. An easy class only because it moves so slowly. Take Trives instead if you can - Trives is a linguist who knows what she's talking about.

She is GREAT! She only speaks in spanish, so you better be prepared to learn to listen to this new language you are learning. As with all new languages you need to study and do Lab, but with a little studying you will get a B in this class! She's a fun teacher.

SHe is fair and really bening instructor. I enroll in her class last fall 2004. She cares about her students and she is funny in a way. She is strick but she wants her students to learn and increase their spanish vocabulary. Believe me, take her course and just do the work and attend to Lab. And test are pure multiple choice. I recommend she is #1.

Marcela is Wonderful!no patience 4 disrupting class or clowning around,but If you truly want to learn spanish this's the class 4u.She really cares that you learn & has a great sense of humor!Moves fast & speaks only spanish in class which is challenging but fun & helpful.Study,& go to the lab & you will be fine gradewise & actually learn alot!

class is fairly easy if you attend and do the homework and try. she's very strict about homework. and she can seem impatient but only when people are being immature and rude, or when they aren't paying attention or participating. very nice lady and good at teaching, worth taking if you are serious and don't act like a jr. high student

I think Ms Redoles Is a good instructor and well In a way she is strick with her students and well unpatience. I took her course last Fall 2005. She goes pretty fast but get use to it. the more faster she teaches, the more you learn fast.

Good teacher but no piece of cake. You have to work in this class. This is not an easy "A" class. If you apply yourself, you will learn spanish. Please use the spanish tutors and the language lab. Participate in class. If she see that you are really trying she will cut you some slack.

Marcella is a very fine spanish professor. Doesn't move too fast with the material; she gives you a chance to learn. Good person and I recommend her.
