This should not be a 300 level class. It was very slow and often times boring. I had trouble paying attention and often times felt as though the material was easy and not worth effort. Marit often over explained topics that should be understood because Roanoke forces you to take statistics as an INQ course. I was disappointed by Marit and the class

Dr. Berntson is a great person and professor. While occasionally her lectures are a little vague or confusing, a quick question and she will elaborate on whatever you need. She's also really accessible outside of class if you need extra help. I would take a class with her again in a heartbeat.

I am very disappointed in Dr. Berntson's class. She seems to be a wonderful person and cares about her students. She teaches at an unclear level. Her exams are IMPOSSIBLE! Do not take this class!

Her intro class is what you make of it if you speak up and help her out you will love it. She is one of the sweetest profs here so take her class.

Her test were pretty easy. The reading that she had are a lot of reading normally and she never really goes over it. It is possible to pass without reading anything and getting good grades! Her classes are pretty boring though! She is a pretty easier overall!

Dr. Bernston is so sweet and always willing to assist you with the material outside of class. Her voice is a bit monotone and it is difficult to stay awake in her 8 am Data Analysis class but she is a fair grader and preps well for tests.

If something should take 5 minutes, she'll make it take 20...the agonizingly slow pace of Sociology 101 is made worse by having to hear her irritating, high-pitched voice at 8 AM.
