You could easily get a really good grade in her classes. She's really clear, her notes are EXTREMELY important to passing her class so you must attend class. As well, for her tests, if you understand and study her practice problems you're guaranteed a great mark. Her testing is easy, and she gives you options to choose from.

Comment:

Prof Vigneault is very kind and calm. When you listen the course is very very easy. If you have a hard time understanding anything she will help out. However, it is also very easy to get distracted as I found her lectures to be quite boring.

She has great knowledge of economics, her explanations are very clear and straight forward. Exams are similar to practice problems which are done in class. If you are a tad serious about your studies you will do good

Very knowledgeable but not entertaining. I had some trouble to figure what would be on the exams. Her midterms were amongst my lowest grade so far (84 & 79). Easy Final. Great prof overall.

Good prof, but doesn't give any examples. Just teaches plain theory and is pretty boring. Compared to the other terrible econ profs, she's probably the best but I had much better econ profs in high school and cegep!

Comment:

A gem of a teacher in the economics department. She has a wealth of knowledge about the concepts and explains them in a very clear and pedagogical manner. Cares a lot about her students. She also uses a great marking scheme that gives you some flexibility if you do poorly on a test. I would recommend that you pick her over the other profs.
