he was honestly my first role model. He's so energetic yet gentle at the same time. I learned so much, way more than you could just learn from the book alone. Its like so many aspects of life just opened up...I felt so happy to be alive and so curious about everything. He conveys the SPIRIT of philosophy.

Unfortunately he is retired, and only teaching certain classes. he really broadened my outlook as far as the world’s religions. he was able to actually convey information without attaching bias or subliminal persuasion. I anticipated reading every chapter and enjoyed every lecture. He was funny, openminded, and full of incredible information.

I had him for philosophy a year ago and then he retired. All the sudden he was back to co-teach this class. I wish he would have stayed retired. He is really a jerk who just gives the appearance of a nice man.

This class is very interesting, but he doesnt know how to teach. He has you take a quiz every week before you even discuss the chapters, which doesnt even make since to me. Also he takes forever to hand your case analysis back which kind of makes me mad. Overall he is a very nice guy though.
