He is very nice. But his lectures are very boring. His HWs and Sample Tests are helpful. He always tries to engage students to the lectures but still it's boring. He grades the HWs and project on effort. Would recommend.

Comment:

A very good Professor, IMHO, one of the best at Bauer. Has a ton of knowledge and is very funny. The class itself is one of the most important finance classes in the degree plan.

Comment:

Dr. Dierker is very nice, respectful, and very helpful. He shares some fun stories and Fina is his life. His homeworks are useful for exams and his sample testa are must know for exams. The term project is VERY, VERY HARD, but you learn a lot. He grades on effort and intrest. I would recommend him for this not so easy class. He is really helpful!

Comment:

I took him for corporate finance. The content of the class is pretty challenging, but he is very helpful. Partial credit helped a lot in class and homeworks were usefull for exams. I would recommend him compared to the other professors.

Comment:

I took Dr. Dierker for a graduate finance class. He expects a lot... BUT, I learned a lot too. He has a very laid-back lecture style and invites students' questions (at least for the grad course), so if you don't understand the material you need to ask during the lecture. He is very helpful outside of class, but can be hard to find.
