Great professor. Very nice, understanding and helpful. The class was great and very fulfilling for a person who is interested in drawing however; the workload is quite intense so expect to be kept busy in this class.

If you can't draw, don't attend this class. Art class is specifically meant for those who are artistic, not for those who can only draw stick men or doodle. For those who are artistic Mary Anne is an excellent prof who will guide you to be better, being that you're already kind of good in the first place. I strongly recommend this class.

I love the fact that Mary-Anne is so organized. She has a precise marking system that helps students understand why certain marks are obtained. She is a hard marker, but this only pushes students to work hard and improve skills!

this is a hard subject to begin with! Why make it harder. the U of L art teachers need to learn to inspire, empower and encourage, she does not do any of this! Hard marker, and no one gets an A+. Be mindful of the bell curve.
