I had Dr. Smith back in the eighties and I made it without finishing my BS degree in the field. I am now in Silicon Valley and enjoy the weather with my my kids. Without Dr. Smith I would not have made it. So learn to write correctly and listen. You will do fine. Radio Shack trs-80 old school BASIC Old computer scientists end up in Silicon valley.

I actually really liked Mr Smith, I think that he's a very sweet man who loves his subject. I really enjoyed the fact that he gives you the chance to do some extra credit stuff. I learned a lot of really interesting facts from his experience. Something must be wrong with YOU if you fail his class !

This is the worst teacher at i have EVER had. in fact, this is the ONLY class that i have ever failed in my life!! he dosn't care!! as he puts it "my lectures are like a stream long but not deep" and "this isn't burger king, its my way or no way" hes horrible! DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR EVR1109. AND it was a shame because its an ineresting subject

At the end of the class we discovered that the questions he uses on his tests are from his reviews online and the homework he assigns from the end of the chapters. I still dont recommend taking him for anything!!!

Every single person I know who has taken his class had regretted it. First off, he does not require attendance, so no one shows up, and second, he does not go over ANYTHING on the tests. I would say study the review questions, cuz thats the only thing that could save you. Or just PLEASE, don't take the class, you will regret it!

OMG! The worst teacher ever. He has one of those voices that sounds like a lullaby. I'm serious, dont take his class, unless its the lab class, and I dont even recommend him for lab. Attendance is not required unless he's giving quizzes. All he does is lecture. Trust me you're better off reading the chapter yourself and copying his power points.

Oh my god! i never had such a bad proffesor in my life, he will make you feel stupid when you ask questions, he do not care about students and he do not explain anything, just read through his power point lectures....the 80 % of the class droped it, the rest are trying to pass the class. do not take this proffesor ever.

he's the worst teacher ever!! he doesn't teach at all, but goes over his power point notes which don't make sense bc he doesn't explain them. the first thing he told our class was how many ppl failed in his previous class. tests are very hard to pass. but if u study the CD he tells u to burn then it is possible to get maybe a C or D. don't take him

He told our class that we were as dumb as rocks. He repeated the same chapter's powerpoint twice in a row despite the entire class telling him that we had already done that lecture. Don't ask him any questions or he will call you stupid. He has tenure so the college can't fire him unless he kills someone. I withdrew from his class. Don't take him!

This professors class can and will stress you out. The tests are difficult, since they do not cover what you learn in class nor what the book says. You can study your brains out but still fail the tests. Would definately not recommend him... sorry!

I heard this was easy and his exams were a piece of cake...I dont know how more wrong I could be. I just took my 2nd test and I read word for word the chapters twice and skimmed once so went over 3times & went over powerpoints and I got a 64! Tests extremely hard. take another professor.
