The class was pretty good. Easy A. The prof. is interesting. She is a nice person and tries to put in modern controversies in the Law Enforcement world into the class but she is too fixated on Trump. She wasted students time during the midterm by talking about Trump for nearly the entire class time. Overall a good class though.

Has you sign up for multiple online grading sites which make things way more complicated than they should be. Plays rap music with lots of n-words in it. Online sites are horrible

I liked her class a lot. She seems to really care about her students and gives out a lot of extra credit opportunities. Also a funny teacher.

I absolutely loved this class. Prof. Clifford covered so many interesting topics and sometimes related it to current events. She is super nice and the actual work you had to do was pretty easy. Everything you do in class is in groups, so try to get a good one. She tests on class and the book, so do both. Overall, I liked her and learned a ton.

Where to begin? As many have said Mary is extremely unorganized and it bleeds into her class and lectures. Do not expect to learn a introduction into the CJS System with CJS 111. I would try to take someone else if possible.

Super specific tests, on both textbook exams and D2L exams. If you dont memorize the whole book and all the videos, you wont get a good score. I am usually good at school but not this class

Mary is such a nice person. However, she is very unorganized and does not do any type of lectures. In class, all we do is group work. We have to do our lectures and notes by ourselves. I would not take this class again.

Very one sided when it comes to teaching. Doesn't do a good job of explaining why things are they way they are. That's what you get for a liberal class though. Very test heavy.

Professor Clifford was a very knowledgeable instructure. I enjoyed the speakers and some of the class discussions. She is very unprepared when it comes to being ready for class and tests. I think that she needs to concentrate more on teaching the book and what she knows rather then trying to make the tests and quizzes harder then they have to be.

Explains things well and keeps D2L updated with many helpful and relevant things to what were learning. Both the course and professor are very thought provoking. Takes attendance at beginning and end of class. Quizzes and tests are open note and open book but are still hard - read the book, go to class and review material often.

Passionate about her job. Wants students to be successful. Very willing to answer questions. She set up guest speakers and trips to the police department. Makes lectures interesting and get the class involved. Get ready to read and study. I would recommend and take another class with this professor.

This class seemed like it would be very interesting. I am very interested in the topic of street law but this class was not right for me. I was expecting to learn about Laws but instead learned about Native Americans in the 1700's. Kind of what you get for a liberal education. Lectures were boring and group work was annoying. But, class is easy.

She's very nice to her students, lets you have an opinion, Class is long and very boring, but guest speakers are interesting to hear. She uses tophat so be ready to spend more money, quizzes, test are easy most answers are common sense others well use the internet. Don't buy book wont need just buy access code save 50 bucks. Very easy class to pass

This course is only out of 100 points, so there's not a lot of leeway to mess up. She uses TopHat for quizzes and attendance. She takes attendance at the beginning and end of every class. She brings in guest speakers most of the time and there are random questions about the guest speakers on the quizzes. Pay attention and you'll pass.

Can tell she is very passionate about Criminal Justice, gets really into the lectures, goes around with a microphone wanting class participation. Uses TopHat for attendance and quizzes. Can usually google many of the answers on the quizzes but they are extremely hard to find. Midterm and Final are online. Didn't use the textbook but it can help.

Mary Clifford is a very busy person as usual. Taking her online class was a good lesson that her lecture class is way much better. Lots of discussions on D2L and her exams online are confusing.
