Getting an A out of her class without knowing what learned! She's horrible at teaching, she doesn't prepare for anything. You can do whatever you want, she doesn't care at all about students. She thinks she's clever, beautiful, experienced, etc. She's the worst teacher ever. I don't know how her reading class could help me prepare for ESL 5.

Sometimes She is SO RUDE. She likes politic discussion. She insulted to religious students in our class! Just remember don't be afraid of her and ask any question you have from text book but not about politics . She is tough teacher so you need to study very well.

The class is not very difficult even if you will have a lot of howework. Mrs Goodwin can be very nice but also very rude with students. she expects you to work a lot and yell if some students are not working. She can also yell for no reason at the beginning of the class. If you ask questions, she can be very harsh in her answers.

Ms Goodwin is good instructor. A lot of homework, but it is relevant for me, it helped me improve my vocabulary and critical thinking. Journal topics were very interesting and I learned a lot from novel and other readings. By the end of term I improved my reading skills and learned many things about America history and culture.

She is funny. Her class is interesting. HOWEVER, we need to do lots of writing like "journal, summary, response and critical thinking." I very much enjoyed this class. Essays were themed around culture and food, and globalization of food system. I learned so much in addition to research. She gives opportunity to write essays over. Best thing...no portfolios, which waste my time.

The worst English professor I've ever seen. Rude and mean and doesn't have a slightest idea on how to teach a foreign language. Prior to her class I was excited to study English, now I'm shocked and disappointed. She yelled at me many times for no reason so I cried. De Anza, get rid of this professor, she is a shame. Waste of my time and money.
