I found Professor Brenner to be very unsympathetic and sometimes downright mean to classmates. He once embaressed one classmate by commenting she should "pay her bills" when there was a mix up in her registration. Whenever I asked a question, he would make a snide comment. I would never take a class with him again.

If you understand math and like a teacher that is very straight forward, Brenner is your man. Nice guy, to the point, doesn't waste anytime! Would definetely recommend him if you like math teachers that are to the point and don't diddle around!

I can see how someone who struggles with math may not like him but if math isn't too hard for you he is a really easy teacher. You can use your notes on every test and he goes over every single homework question you have. He may seem grumpy but I found him to be humorous.

Stay away. This man is not a teacher. He has a very grumpy attitude. He makes TONS of mistakes. The class always has to correct him, but before he realizes he made a mistake, he gets irritated with the people who point it out to him. He can't answer questions in a clear and concise manner. Takes 2 hours to explain 4 or 5 problems.

well the whole grading only on tests thing wasnt that great. but by Gods mercy i was able to pass them all. I also got most of what i learned from highschool. It was cool he took your worst test score off your grade, but no credit on homework really sucked. A few times we got him to give us extra credit on the test, he put things on there he said h

Not a really hard class, but not a good teacher either. I learned most of the material from sources out of class. He has a bit of an attitude problem, and doesn't seem to enjoy his job, has no enthusiam and doesn't care that he can't keep his class from falling asleep.

Extremely sour attitude, absolutely no demonstrable passion for teaching. He doesn't explain things well, grades harshly, refuses to answer questions he doesn't like, and wonders why people don't come to his class. Why he's still teaching only the good ole boys know.

He's a a good teacher and I'd reccomend him to anyone. He's only asked for two homework assignments the whole term. He grades on how well you do on your tests and he only grades 4 out of 5 tests. Takes out your worst test.

If you are not good at math and need extra help he is very difficult to understand. There were many ppl in the class that were confused and when they would ask a question it seemed like he would answer in a condecending way or not even answer it all in way that the person would actually understand. He never brought out the graphing calcs in class.

He is an awesome teacher! VERY nice VERY helpful. Tests are way easy. Class maybe a little boring, but you really do learn stuff. i suggest taking all three courses in a row from him. He is always willing to help you out if you dont understand something.

THE easiest teacher to take! ALL of his tests are from the web address of the textbook--there are 2 quizzes online, one of them he uses for study guide, the other one is the ACTUAL chapter exam! Peice of cake to get an A in his class. He is lenient too
