The material provided by Dr. Parmentier is very interesting and is relevant to present times. I enjoyed taking this course with this professor. On the downside, she gives unexpected feedback, which can catch you off guard - especially during the latter part of the course. She also does not like to be challenged.

You need to be responsible and on top of your own reading, etc. Professor Parmentier will give helpful, yet unexpected, feedback on your papers. Make sure to use this class to as best you can to get as much done on your GTD capstone project ahead of time because it will save you a lot of work later on. She is a fantastic professor and the class is very well designed. You just have to read the articles she assigns and then participate in class discussions which are very interesting. There are a few papers and some online tests, but if you go to class then you should have no problem with the work. I would highly recommend her!

I took her BIS 402 6 week class. It was easy. There was weekly blackboard post and a 10 page essay but the essay was easy to BS. Also, there were 3 quizzes. Overall, I like the class.

Great teacher! Interested in what she teaches, pretty open to different views. The class was informative and also interesting. Grades easily, assignments are useful and not too hard - no busy work! Took this class online, had lots of interaction with classmates.

She is great, communicates quickly and helpful, even offered to sign onto Skype to help long distance students like me. Course material is interesting and she doesn't assign pointless busywork. Middle East Politics. She is always helpful. This was an online class. So you basically just have to post things before the due date. If you are interested in the subject I would reccomend it, its a lot of "on your own" research.

Great teacher! Lots of international experience, sensitive to cultural issues of students, open to adapting curriculum plan to benefit students. Interested in diverse opinions, so adjusts grading policies accordingly. Just do the work, go to class, be engaged, have opinions, and it will be a fun experience!

Very knowledgable about subject. Alot of writing for class though. Requires a paper, midterms and finals are almost completely essay and as she does not assign homework during the semester, her tests are whoppers.
