Awesome professor. She is a very nice and thoughtful woman. She teaches you how to write well and cares about her students. Just work hard in her class and get extra help from her, and you should do fine. She assigns HW every class, but it is very doable.

By far the best professor I've had thus far! Especially since English is somewhat of a boring subject to teach, but she knows exactly what she's doing! It's a pretty easy class overall as long as you do all of your homework and do well on your essays you should pass no problem! I definitely recommend her.

She's a good teacher, you really need to keep up with your work in her class, do all homework, and ask a lot of questions so you know exactly what she wants from you on your essays (this is important). She's very nice and will help you if your confused about anything.

Best English teacher!!! She made English class really fun. Shes smart, engages everyone in class discussion, gives good feedback on essays, and never makes you feel dumb. Seriously one of the nicest people you will EVER meet! Take her class, you'll love it! :)

If you don't like prof.Mowry is because you are lazy. She is a wonderful, charismatic person who wants you to learn and succeed. She gives quite a bit of homework, but the more you do, the easier it will be for you to learn. She seems harsh the first 2 weeks, but that's to weed out the lazies who will drop the class anyway. She loves teaching!

great teacher!!! I hated english before this class, I always would get Cs but she taught me to like writing and I finally got my first A on an English paper in this class. Helps with essays if you stay after class. Very sweet and nice.

Good Teacher but loves grammar. Not much help when it comes to writing but gives to you straight. Difficult teacher if you don’t care for English. Don’t take a class that is 4 hours once a week. Other wise she is a good teacher.
