He tries to be funny, seriously not. His lecture is so unorganized and he can't spell at all. He's nice. He literally canceled class like 6 times. You seriously have one exam and he tells you everything that's on it. He has someone give you the notes in class. You can take them if you want. A few papers, just think, do it. Easy A, no sweat.

Must take! barely any work. grade based on midterm, term paper, final & participation. studied for both midterm and final the night before and did great. He's very helpful and WANTS to give everyone As! Be interactive with the class and be friendly with him- study when you have to (2 nights total?) and you will get the A! Also, i now love jews!!!

I learned a lot in his class. Readings are easy. Several short response papers, and one 4 page term paper on one of the book. Midterm and Final are easy if you do readings and attend class. Would recommend him!

Laid back man. Canceled class about 5 times, had a sub for another 3 classes including final. Need books, but super easy read. Can skim them. Lectures conversational. 3-5 mini "papers" (1 paragraph-2 pgs). Half of which get a generic checkmark ie: Explain Rosh Hashanna. Midterm5 TF+12 MC+essay q given in advance. Final similar. LIGHT studying req.

Hes an okay guy, in a way, but something about him really bothers me. Im jewish and I thought I was in for some great education and I was terribly wrong. He's a reformed rabbi which means absolutely nothing to me. I respect him to an extent and thats it. Easy A. If you dont care about the reform thing, take him. Hes pleasant enough.

The professor is understanding and nice. He was not biased while teaching the religion and focused on all sides of a story. The reading was alot, but interesting. His midterm and final are EASY. Term paper based on one of the books, but you will like it if you like history.

This professor is a nice man and he is pretty easy until he gives you the final grade which would be so unreasonable than your performance in class. I think he is a very unfair grader, and he takes his time grading.

He's a really interesting professor. Talk in class, participate a lot, he likes that. He gives a review sheet for the final and midterm study that. He gives a lot of reading, just do it no other way around

Pretty easy class, although from what I have heard he can be stingy with the As. Tests are straightforward and the paper is somewhat easy. I suggest doing the readings/handouts because they show up on the test and his notes are INSANE. Cancels a lot. If you want to learn about Judaism take him because he knows his stuff. Take him, seems easy.

hes easy/boring but hes also incompetent. he cant grade exams properly + it takes him along time to grade them. he assigns readings that he wont even go over it. its a waste of time (lots of it) when he talks about his own personal life. (digressing away from the subject) take him for easiness but watch out he can be hard/tricky grader at the end.
