Bad professor and horrible professor! She always has an attitude with students and needs to chill. Most of the people got horrible and decent grades with this lady. I know she just retired but if she subs avoid her ! Pick a different professor and she is a horrible professor !

Professor Leath is dedicated to her students success. Many people who did not pass and failed were not putting the effort into learning. She could only do so much, but she would correct and allow us to return papers for better grades. It is an easy A if you put the work in.

This was the easiest A that I have ever made. Professor Leath edits your essays for you and then gives them back to you multiples times some that you can make an A. Take her!!!! She was a bit unorganized but if you take control of your own grade and make sure that things are turned in on time you will be fine.

Went crazy turning everything in only to be failed due to her negligence of inputting grades. Do not take her. She will lose papers and blame you for her incompetence!

Seriously one of the worst professors at UTSA. The classes were pointless to show up to, there would be random quizzes over unannounced material, and the essays were never clarified. The schedule was a mess and never accurate and the class was canceled more times than I could count. DON'T EVER TAKE IT WITH HER!

Did not like this class at all. The class itself was completely pointless. She would just stand there and talk with people and google random stuff that had nothing to do with her lesson. She constantly changed the schedule so you never knew when anything was due, but you could pretty much turn it in whenever you want. I do not recommend her at all!

Leath is probably the worst teacher at UTSA. She constantly cancels class, fails to explain any assignment until after everyone fails it, and is very condescending. I would recommend you to never take her if you can! Unfortunately if it ends up like that you will constantly be irritated but probably make and A and DO NOT BUY THAT BOOK

Jokes were constant, and a majority of the time they are downright disrespectful. Due dates were never clear, quizzes were random and usually failed. If shes in a bad mood, steer clear- she will make it your problem. On the bright side, she knows and respects those who are hard working. It's not the end of the world if she is your professor.

Disorganized and lost peoples assignments. Due dates not clear at all. She only cares about grammar and not the actual content of your papers. Her constant jokes are only funny if you think being disrespectful is funny. I would NOT recommend her. Awful teaching and her personal opinions (that she always shares even when no one asks) are awful too.

Things weren't that bad in the beginning. She was vague about the assignments, their requirements, and their due dates. She didn't enter a grade for two months (a literal two months), but she didn't give the class a reason to worry. On the day of the final, she showed us a preview of our grades. Tons of people did horribly.

She isn't necessarily clear on what she needs on your papers and journals. She's kind of wishy washy with her mood, one week she was just mean the whole time. But I guess she was good, I mean I did learn SOME things. And she's kind of funny, you def have to get used to her humor before you get offended.

She is helpful. not stress with due date. she has 10-15 journals. she gives you chance to correct you essay more than two times. 3 essays and 2 in class including the final + one group presentation before the final. i think she is good enough to get A or B!

Leath is a love/hate professor. You love her because she is lenient, carefree, and class is pretty pointless. You hate it because essays are NEVER clear, never know when anything is due, grades harshly and gets VERY OFF TOPIC..yet expects you to know everything. However she will bend rules and is entertaining at times.
